deadly attack on monday. and a fiery collision causes traffic gridlock on i-95. but the big story on "action news" at noon is the murder of a 35-year-old woman. the victim was shot in the head inside of a home in camden and investigators are now putting out a plea for information to help find their killer. katherine scott joins us live from the scene. >> reporter: rick, this is the second homicide in this area in the matter of days. in this latest case, the 34-year-old woman was shot and killed in her home. so far there have been no arrests. police were back at the village complex in camden, a 34-year-old woman, a mother was fatally shot. >> pray for everybody. but the kids -- >> police responded to a 911

call, inside of a home on river avenue. and the victim was rushed to cooper hospital in serious condition with a gunshot wound to her head. and this woman said the police lights caught her attention. >> i saw them taking a stretcher to the ambulance and a lot of cops and stuff here. >> she succumbed to her injuries. and the camden county police and prosecutors office remained on the scene trying to piece together what happened. just two days ago there was a homicide nearby on the 1200 block of east state street. sean johnson was shot early tuesday morning and died from his injuries. police have not said if the two homicides were connected. and we did speak with several family members of sean johnson including his mother, she says there is no connection between sean and last night's victim and are heart broken over the loss of sean and holding a vigil for

him tonight. >> katherine thank you. overseas the manhunt continues across germany for the prime suspect in the deadly truck attack at a christmas market in berlin, several different locations are being searched for the fugitive. his fingerprints were found in the truck that drove into the market and killed 12 people. the market is open now with security measures in place. more now from marcy gonzales. >> berlin police tell abc news they get tips every hour and following up on most of them and are confident that this manhunt could be over soon. tense raids as authorities try desperately to track down the terrorist that drove a truck through a crowded market in berlin in all killing 12 people, their focus on finding this suspect. anis amri. >> the national and international connections were

caught to quickly catch the suspect. >> an alert going out across europe for the 24-year-old tunisian said to use six aliases and nationities. he is likely to have carried out the attack that killed 12 people. his i.d. and fingerprings were found in the hijacked truck. police say they monitored amri for months because of his ties to radicals and why his citizenship was denied. and this adds vigilance for this year's celebration in times square for new year's eve. and concerned that replica attacks but saying there is no specific threat. today that christmas market in berlin, reopened for the first time since the attack. and of the 48 people injured we learned that two are american

late they are afternoon. temperatures are mild on this first full day of winter as we look live from sky 6 hd at the commodore barry bridge, some wind is moving in and it's getting colder as fans head to the eagles game in philadelphia. first let check in with karen rogers in for david murphy with a first check of the forecast. >> it feels pretty good out there now. a good amount of sunshine and temperatures starting to respond to that. we started off with lots of clouds and a chilly start. 43 in martins creek and 40 in quakertown and pottstown. coatesville already at 50 degrees, 4 in kennett square and center city. 49 in hammonton and 48 on the boardwalk. a live update, 46 in cinnaminson and 32 in smyrna, delaware. the sunshine is filtering through and temperatures responding to that and doesn't feel like the first day of

winter and now forecasting a high of 51 degrees, the average high is only 43, a good 8 degrees above average. feeling it today not touching the record of 68 but nice any way. yes, we started off with lots of clouds and even a touch of sleet or drizzle in spots early this morning. only a drizzle drop or two. clouds start to break to the west and we get a good amount of sunshine filtering in through the clouds and a pretty enough day to enjoy the temperatures this time of year. 12:00 our high of 51 and clouds and sunshine mixing in and dipping quickly. the winds start to pick up a bit later this afternoon. they are not there just yet but you'll feel the difference later on. 6:00, 48 degrees and kickoff time 38 degrees the temperature but the windchill when you factor it in it feels like the 20s. so it will feel different than today. 10:00, 35 degrees. we'll talk about the holiday forecast for the weekend because
