berlin. anis amri was killed in a shootout in milan after a manhunt stretching across europe. >> the time now, 9:06. we have an update on the story that was breaking news just a few hours ago. 14 people were hurt during an overnight crash on i-95 it happened in bucks county. it happened between woodhaven and academy roads around 3:30 a.m. you see the scene there. we know that all 14 people were traveling in a large van when it ran off the road and rolled over several times, multiple people were trapped and had to be rescued from the van. the victims were transported to four different hospitals, no word on the extent of those injuries. we know the southbound lanes of i-95 in that area were shut down for a brief time following the crash, but they have since reopened. this morning, investigators are trying to determine what caused this fire last night in philadelphia's germantown section. the fire destroyed a row home

bayington street we were told there were no injuries. less than a month before donald trump's inauguration, the president-elect has vowed to expand america nuclear's capacity. the transition team said they received a very nice letter from vladimir putin urging trump to act in a constructive and pragmatic manner to restore the frame of the bilateral cooperation. the exchange comes after trump and putin expressed the need to strengthen their country's nuclear arsenals. this morning, star wars actor carrie fisher is in the intensive care unit. the 60-year-old experienced medical trouble during a flight from london. she was treated immediately after the plane landed in los angeles. her brother said she is receiving excellent care, but he could not classify her condition.

windows and assaulted him. they do not know what prompted the attack. two suspects were arrested, two others are out there on the run. this morning there is a multiagency search for burglar whose been breaking into stores across three counties in the area. police connected the suspect to a dozen smash and grab thieves, 6 in philadelphia, five in bensalem, bucks county, one in radnor township, delaware county. the crime spree started november 19. investigators say the burglar breaks into stores overnight by shattering glass doors and uses a hammer, he is lightning quick. in and out within minutes before police respond. police say they realize he is hard to identify with his face covered in the surveillance video. they hope seeing his getaways vehicles an older model mercedes benz sedan might help generate tips. shots were fired as a ups driver in chester. this guy kept his cool after

being grazed by a bullet. he made a quick-thinking decision to drive to a nearby car dealership where he knew ambulances were often serviced. >> he came in because it was safe. we have police around, we service a lot of chester vehicles and we take care of the paramedics. sure enough there was a paramedic here who took him in and took him up to the hospital. >> he was ain't to get the help he -- he was able to get the help he needed. police don't believe he was the intended target, likely truck by a crossfire shooting that happened at 10th and highland. investigators think careless smoking started a fire that killed a man and left 6 families without a place to stay around the holidays. the two-alarm fire started at 1:30 p.m. in pottstown, montgomery county. the victim's brother identified him as 50-year-old david duke.
