several passengers are hurt when an airplane goes off the runway. and fighting leads to chaos at 15 different shopping malls across the country. but the panel of destruction from an out of control truck. it burst into flames at a gas station narrowly missing the pumps. annie mccormick is live. >> reporter: we are outside of the accident scene. the cleanup is going on for hours. chopper 6 hd is overhead. like we said it's hours since they are working to get the food off the trailer, to people are injured but are in stable condition. and the intersection is shut down and the crews have responded. cell phone video captured the flames that engulfed this tractor trailer after it crashed

into this gas station at levic. and 15 firefighters and more than a dozen emergency vehicles responded at 6:30 this morning. >> it was a bunch of explosions at 3:00 or 4:00. >> got on location, and saw there was a two vehicle accident with the truck fully involved fire shooting 15 feet up into the air. >> in a half hour crews put out the flames, the driver of the tractor trailer hauling goods from shop-rite hit this suv before hitting the gas station. snapping this pole in half and firefighters hit an emergency stall button to stop the flow of gas to the pumps. >> this man an overnight manager from rite-aid from across the street ran to help the driver of the suv and officials say this

this morning. hi sara a state fire marshall is here and state fire marshall and two county detectives, they were searching through the rubble of the building in part to determine a cause and to determine if non-unaccounted for resident is here. his car is here but the not clear if he was in the house at the time of the fire. >> i smelled smoke and looked down the road and it wasn't hard to find. it was shortly after 5:00 people when mike lukes got a smell of fire in his neighborhood. he snapd this picture of this house on naaman's creek road that was burning. >> got here and no fire apparatus was here yet and i could hear them coming and it went up very quick. it went from smoke to fully engulfed. >> he said it took minutes before the entire wing of the

house was blazing. they found heavy fire above the garage, the wing that contained the garage later collapsed. the sole occupant of the house could not be accounted for and investigators began digging through the collapse portion of the fire scene about an hour ago. >> they dug for an hour but they have called a stop from the work and waiting for an update from authorities to give us an accounting for the unaccounted to resident. >> john, thank you. turning to accuweather, temperatures are soaring into the 60s today and looking live at sky 6 in high definition showing us spring mountain and conditions are breezy and mild and the last of the rain moved out and karen rogers is in for david murphy with a check of the forecast.

mccauley posted the grim news on social media and police confirmed the news this morn . >> we received a tip and officers responded to m street northwest last night. they found 46-year-old tricia mccauley of northeast washington, d.c. deceased in her vehicle. >> the man that was driving that vehicle has been taken into custody and police are trying to establish a timeline of events since she was last seen at 4:30 in the afternoon christmas day. she was an actress and yoga teacher. some thieves with a taste for designer clothing were able to steal thousands worth of fur coats. this video shows them throwing a brick through a front door of a store on madison avenue. they believe that they cased the
