for an armed robbery at a king of prussia atm is in custody. jamal goodwin confessed to the holdup at the wells fargo. he is facing robbery and assault and owner charges. he is being held at $25,000 bail and is in prison on another charge. philadelphia police are investigating a robbery that happened near temple university. a 26-year-old woman says that three masks men approached her at 10th and norris at 1:00 a.m. the victim tried to run and she was shot in the leg and arm. she was taken to the hospital in stable condition and officials say she is not a temple student. >> a big change could be coming for new jersey residents that gave up their children for adoption. in 2017 next year a new state law takes effect making it easier for adopted children to track down their birth parents. nora muchanic is live in the new jersey newsroom with details.

attack on a christmas market in germany. officials say the automatic braking on the truck may have saved lives. 12 were killed and dozens pour injured when anis amri drove into the square. the auto braking system sensed an impact and that is required for all large trucks operating in the eu after 2012. the man that german officials obtained in connection with the attack has been released. officials believe that amri sent that man a picture before driving into the market but then determined the two were not in can't before the attack. and one of the main line's top officials stands accused of fondling an alleged elderly victim. sara bloomquist is live now with more. >> reporter: 75-year-old william

spingler is free on bail tonight the former radnor township commissioner is accused of inappropriately touching a 103-year-old woman he is related to through a previous marriage. the employees here told police that they saw 75-year-old william spingler touching an elderly resident if a sexual manner on three separate occasions, the 103-year-old vehicle tim suffers from dementia and other ailments and spingler is a well known long time public sevenant on the main line. he was first elected in 1969 and retired as its president last year. police were called to the nursing home on december 16th in wayne. and an employee told officers she saw spingler touching the woman's chest in an inappropriate manner and it

happened again the next day and they saw the victim with a blanket pulled up to her shoulders and spingler using his right hand to massage her chest area in an inappropriate way not to be mistaken for assistance of any kind. he left immediately when he noticed the employees watching him and then a registered nurse told police he noticed spingler touching her chest and he was arrested that day with three countses of indecent assault on a person with a mental disability. genesis health care released a statement. the safety and well being is our priority at wayne center. the center does not comment on pending police matters. >> reporter: and spingler was arraigned back on december 23rd and did post his $10,000 bail
