this afternoon. jeremiah monell was arraigned on murder and related charges. gray hall was in the courtroom and spoke with the victim's family. gray what is the story? >> reporter: well brian, as you can imagine an emotional time for the victim's family they are happy that the suspect was capture and now hope the legal system will keep him behind bars. >> jeremiah monell is charged in the murder of his estranged wife, tara o'shea. his family members did not show up but the victim's family did and were clearly emotional. >> i want him buried underneath that jail. i mean i shouldn't say that on national tv but that is how i feel. and i'm done hiding what i feel. i want him buried underneath that jail. >> they say that o'shea was in an abusive relationship with

monell and last month he slit her throat inside of their cumberland county home. >> she cried for help desperately from the courts to come up and help her get out of the situation. >> monell spent two weeks on the run and a witness spotted him and troopers eventually arrested him in a wooded area along highway 322 and now her family is focused on the family she left behind. >> they are without their mother and father but their support system is great. not as good as mom and dad but we are here and ready to help. >> reporter: and back out live the next court appearance for monell will happen on monday morning. that is when the judge will determine if he will be released on bail or must remain locked up until trial. live in bridgeton, new jersey channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. philadelphia police are investigating the death of a man

found shot in holmesburg last night. his body was discovered in a bedroom. the man's 38-year-old girlfriend found him late last night. he had been shot in the head and investigators found neither a gun nor a note at the scene but have not ruled this a homicide. a fire at a well known lehigh valley business at times was still smoldering today. the flames broke out at 8:30 last night at the shuns greenhouse. firefighters from five surrounding counties were called in to help battle the flames and had to haul water to the scene using tanker trucks. it took about seven hours to get the fire under control and the state fire marshall is looking into the cause of the fire. time for a first check of the accuweather forecast. and it was nice out today. >> sunshine again, lets head outside to meteorologist, adam

outside, the eastbound side is going to be jammed the length from 76 all the way out to 295, but it looks like you are only tapping the brakes a bit on the eastbound side approaching 76. i want to take you to west philadelphia and the powell andton section of the the city we have an accident involving two trolleys on septa and lancaster avenue is closed now between 38th and powellton avenue. powellton avenue is the best bet to get around that. and affects you on mass trance because the route 10 trolley is suspended all because of that earlier accident on lancaster avenue at powellton. steer clear of that for sure. the rest of mass transit you can see is running on or close to schedule. on the roosevelt boulevard extension, the northbound side is jammed from this point to 76 on out to broad street but the southbound side moving along quite nicely. >> gina thank you. still ahead on "action news" setting the stage for a health
