testify. just hours before the hearing back page shut down the entire adult services section. replacing the pages with a banner saying the government has unconstitutionally censored this content. >> reporter: some anti-trafficking group said it was a critical tool depended on america's vice detectives to locate and recover missing children. the electronic frontier foundation says the invasive burdensome inquiry into the the editorial practices creates an intense chilling effect for any website operator seeking to define their own moderation procedures for the third party content they host. just as quickly as back page's adult section was shut down, we found similar ads on other parts of the site, like on the men seeking women dating pages. back page is truly a global empire. according to senate report, it
