fought back. wednesday night, jim is off. i'm monica. the big story tonight a struggle with an intruder inside an atlantic county home. jeanette reyes at the police department tonight. the suspect lives just a few blocks away. >> monica, the great grandmother put up quite the fight when her neighbor broke into her home. residents tell me he's been terrorizing the neighborhood for years now. >> it was close to midnight. 91-year-old florence graham was in her living room watching t.v. when things got strange. it started with a noise. then she saw a figure across the carpet. >> i was sitting here and he was on the floor. >> michael her neighbor

who ran off with her purse leaving her cellphone behind. police arrived a short time later. >> the 91-year-old answered the door with blood on her robes and hands and forehead. >> this may not have been the first time. neighbors saw him leaving her home while she was away. >> he broke into a home two houses away where he was doing work for the people and he robbed them as well. >> police found him hiding in the bedroom and arrested him. >> there has to be a special place in hell for him. >> for this great grandmother, what is done is done and she's ready to move on. >> i'll get over it, i hope. >> graham tells me the first time the man robbed her he got

away with an engagement ring she got over 70 years ago. police tell me he has a history of drug related crimes. he was denied bail and they hope he's going away for a long time. monica? >> thank you, jeanette. philadelphia police say a trio of armed robbers held up a consignment shop tonight. police respond today the consignment on main street about 6:00. investigators say the robbers tied up the owner and customer before stealing the most expensive furs and purses in the store. both victims are shaken up but okay. police are viewing the surveillance video. >> with under 48 hours until donald trump is sworn in final preparations respect in high gear. there is portable flooring being installed for the crowds expected to pack the mall.

charges have now been filed in the horrific abuse of a dog in delaware county. this one named delores was beaten dozens of times. her leg was beaten so badly it has to be amputated. she was rescued friday night. despite all she suffered her rescuers say delores is a sweet dog affectionate and loving. she's being cared for by rescue in the county. >> priebus faces charges including involuntary manslaughter in the death of michael. she sold heroin to the victim but actually sold him fentanyl. she faces five years behind bars if convicted.

>> 73-year-old janet powell daily faces 20 days of house arrest. she was barred from working in the mortuary business. police were called to come and investigate a foul order in august 2015. she pled not guilty to abusive corpse and theft. a local organization is turning tragedy into life saving opportunities. dann cuellar tells us about a program encouraging families coping with loss to provide the gift of life. >> just after 8:30 police rushed to the 5600 block of ridgewood to find a man shot in the chest. they rush him to hj. earlier, a 37-year-old was shot in the face, neck and heyed. again, under the commissioner
