coastal storm we an all affected by the winds and will increase through the overnight hours. here is what you can expect increasing winds, just a few showers, a little drizzle overnight, the rain doesn't hit until tomorrow. 43 degrees for the overnight low. let's talk about the rain that is coming. there is a coastal flood advisory because of this. the ocean high tide with the persistent northeasterly flow 3:30 to 4:30 minor coastal flooding but moderate in the high tide from 4:00-5:00 p.m. and there is wind advisory for most of the region but a high wind warning along the coastline and that is where we could see the peak wind gusts 60 miles per hour and will effect us and let's run down what it means the high wind on the gust peak gusts up to 60 miles per hour at time and scattered power outages to caught beach erosion and mild to moderate coastal flooding and philadelphia area here is the i-95 corridor, this is tomorrow

lord please let us pass over let i pass over. >> reporter: the national weather service has now issued a rare alert that is called a particularly dangerous situation watch, this weekend so far more than two dozen tornados have been reported. this video is from southern california where two women were struggling to stay alive after giant waves swept them off of a cliff and into the water. a bystander pulled one woman to safety, life guard tried to find the second woman but because it was so dark and the sea foam so thick it took nearly 40 minutes and finally did it but because the current was so strong it took four people to pull the woman to the shore. other news tonight a robbery in a shopping mall in san antonio texas with shots fired this afternoon and one person killed after two men robbed a jewelry store, as they ran from the store a good samaritan tried to stop them and one of the robbers shot and killed that man, a second person then stepped in and shot one of the

robbers, as the second suspect shot three other people while getting away. police are still looking for that suspect at this hour and no word on the conditions of those who were shot. a computer program caused all united airlines flights nationwide to come to a stop for about an hour tonight, the airline issued the ground stop around 8:00 p.m. but shortly after 9:00 united said the problem was fixed, there is no word on exactly what went wrong or how many flights were affected. this sunday was no day of rest for president trump on his second full day in office. and he has an even busier day tomorrow but this weekend has been one of controversy and debate over fact versus fiction. abc's marcy gonzales reports now from washington. >> good everything the controversy over the inauguration crowd sites continue as as the president held a couple events including one to thank law enforcement for keeping the inauguration safe. on his second full day in off e

in center city where on friday a store owner was arrested and charged with fencing high end jewelry stolen from homes in the suburbs. action news reporter christie lleto is live at the scene with details, christie. >> reporter: well sarah authorities have been here for quite some time this evening and you can see them going through the stores through the windows and looking at display jewelry for evidence and we are told they were able to open a vault inside that included multiple safes. now the store's owner was making headlines earlier this weekend when he was charged for allegedly fencing jewelry stolen from homes in the suburbs and one of five suspects behind a burglary ring where 15 burglaries occurred and 1.5 million were stolen in one robbery prosecutors say they tied up a residents, threw a safe from a second floor window and made off with half a million of goods and pros prosecutors said hoe used three storefronts

jeff chirico channel six news. police searching for three men who forced their way in a home in south philadelphia attacked a couple and roped them in the morning of barman street and they pistol whipped one of the victims all while the young couple's two young children slept up stairs and stole a safe with money, keys and important documents and the neighbors who did not want their faces shown are very concerned. >> early this morning i heard a knock at the door next door and when i came to the door and happened to look outside there were four cops. >> reporter: many neighbors here say they will be installing cameras in case they decide to come back. former philadelphia congressman due to report to prison in week and a ten-year term on wednesday the 60-year-old was convicted last june of racketeering, bribery, money laundering and other crimes an ordered to pay 600,000

a historic building in new castle delaware has been torn down and resulted in hard feelings the banks memorial building along the waterfront was torn down overnight parts of the building buckled and yesterday the city engineer decided to tear it down before tomorrow's nor'easter arrives but neighbors are upset that were not made aware of that

tracking the accuweather forecast and the approach of a nor'easter. we have rain, we have wind, all at our doorstep and start with storm tracker 6 live double scan not a lot happening yet, a couple showers moving through south jersey, philadelphia and salem and dover delaware getting a little wet with storm tracker six live and let's go outside and show you what it's like, the camera has been bouncing a bit in atlantic city and see little raindrops on the window there and check the current conditions for you the temperature is mild 47 degrees, the dew point is 43 degrees a lot of moisture in the atmosphere and the winds have really been gusting already and the wind chill not a factor and ocean 42, 45 miles per hour in

cape may and 24 philadelphia and allentown reading, lancaster throughout the region we see gusty winds and this is only going to increase overnight and into tomorrow. satellite six and action radar showing clouds and showers and waves moving through and see the rain that is welding up to the south and this is a serious situation a strong area of low pressure with an outbreak of tornados in the southeast and what they are calling a very serious situation the highest elevation they have had in winter, the highest risk they had for the area in winter for ten years and the low pressure will go off the coast and form a nor'easter and track up the coast and gives beach erosion and gusty winds and rain as well a good 1-2" of rain and future tracker six is showing us picking up with rain at 11:30 in the morning there will be some rain at times and not heavy for the morning commute and 11:30 it fills in more and watch in the
