we'll see the lake-effect snow turned on again for lake erie on ontario. for us, normally this stuff never crosses the mountain. maybe we'll get a flake or two, but that's it. speaking of a flake or two, storm tracker 6 live it is dry air, so much of this is not reaching the ground, maybe a flurry or two, that's about it. look for a combination of sun and clouds, windchills making it feel like the mid 30s. gray? >> thank you for the update. new information to tell you about this morning, police are working hard to track down a person who shot a man ten times. the crime happened outside a north philadelphia bar. the victim received a text inside the bar on the 2400 block of germantown avenue at 11:15 p.m. when he walked outside that's when he was targeted and shot at. that shooting left the man critically injured. police officers responding to the scene took him to the

hospital. investigators are working to see if the text that he received and surveillance cameras will provide any clues. two people survived this crash in willingboro, burlington county. the driver hit a dry on beverly ran giuliana -- rancocas road. a young boy was killed riding an atv with a friend. chopper 6 hd was over the crash scene as police investigated a fatalities atv crash over bensalem boulevard. the four wheeler that was riding in the street hit a car broadsided. >> right now we have one fatality and one in critical condition at the hospital. >> reporter: both victims are middle school age. you can see the damage on the passenger side as the car is towed away.

>> the driver stopped and showed no impairment. >> to lose a son say young age. police say atv riding in the streets around here has been a problem for a while. but this man doesn't thing this tragedy will change anything. >> kids will be kids they will do what they wanted to even with parental overwatch. >> reporter: what else the lesson? >> don't ride an atv on the road. >> reporter: the boy that died was not wearing a helmet, the driver was not cited. police are still investigating. a new castle police officer escaped injury when he collided on a front lawn on west newport pike at 7:00 p.m. no word on yet who was at fault.

a former philadelphia police officer pleaded guilty to robbing a handyman in bucks county. michael wrinkler hired two contractors to do work at one of his properties last may. he admitted stealing $38 and assaulting one of them after a disagreement over the work. he was on duty at the time. he was sentenced to serve five years probation, he was fired as a result of the arrest. there will be no charges for governor chris christie in the bridgegate scandal. yesterday prosecutors said the state did not believe there was notice criminal misconduct. a complaint filed by a volunteer firefighter claimed he violated the state misconduct law by failing to reopen the closed lane leading to the george washington bridge which caused the traffic jam. tom wolf revealed he is cancer free. doctors have given the governor a clean bill of health after

treating him for prostate cancer. he used the occasion to have all pennsylvanias -- pennsylvanians to schedule regular checkups with their doctors. wonderful will combine four agencies, department of human services health, aging and alcohol program will be one new agency. there's no word if this will involve job cuts. it's to balance the state deficit. this year's cyclist will not face the grueling task of climbing up the manayunk wall. the cycling classic has been canceled. the organizers put the brakes on the race because there are not enough sponsor. the race was a tradition for 30 years, the highlight the climb up the manayunk wall. >> i don't know it's early enough we might be able to safe

thursday, 55. even yesterday, it felt cooler yesterday with the breeze, flurries around, we managed a high of 44 which is four degrees above average, and no snow, this has been killing me. so far in philadelphia we've seen 5.2 inches of snow this winter season that's five inches below normal. we have not had any measurable snow since january 7. for snow lovers there's no snow in the foreseeable future. windchills feels like 20s. 31 in millville. 30 in cape may. 24 in allentown. feels like a blustery 13 degrees in the poconos. we're getting back to normal this weekend, we're no longer seeing the upper 40s to mid 50s. jet stream taking a plunge across the mid atlantic. this is not true arctic air. this is across the hole the had you hudson bay. this will get us back to where we should be for this time of the year. nothing crazy, that's for sure.

right sound or video. as it relates to that story, the victim is in the hospital in stable condition. a man and woman inside the apartment is not hurt. the suspects took off empty handed and have not been caught yet. this morning, philadelphia police are investigating a hit-and-run that killed a grandmother as she carried her grandson. police say the 48-year-old woman had just stepped off a trolley with 6 children at 57th and girard street. that women was hit by a car. the driver took off. the woman died from her injuries at the hospital. her 3-year-old grandson had minor injuries. the other five children shaken up by this, but they were not hurt. police are searching for a late model minivan that should have significant front end damage. happening this morning, philadelphia police searching for what they described a gang of -- as a gang of violent crook.

>> a police chase in the los angeles area ended with this right here, this crash. the suspect's car slammed into a another car on the 134 freeway. the driver took off on foot. the person is in jail. the woman in the suspect's car and two people in the other car were hurt. that crash jammed the freeway for miles. the driver did not stop at a traffic sign. newly released surveillance shows the frightening moments as a pickup truck slams into a mass transit bus. this happened in new york last week. the truck was lodged inside the bus several feet off the ground. the truck driver was driving on exit ramp and the truck crashed into the stop sign as the passengers scrambled to get out of the way. minor injuries reported. the driver of the truck was not
