how quickly the clouds are starting to increase in advance of that right there. that's our snow maker overnight tonight into tomorrow morning. it's not a big storm, it's moving very quickly, snowfall total should be minor, but enough to create problems tomorrow morning. forecast for today, gradual increase in clouds, 42 degrees by 1:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m., 43. 5:00 p.m., back down to 40. windchills will make it feel like the mid 30s, winter weather advisory goes into effect overnight tonight for south jersey and delaware, i'll talk about that coming up in just a bit. guys? >> we're following breaking news this morning, charges have been filed against a man following a deadly crash on the the roosevelt boulevard that killed a ten-year-old girl and her teenage sister. police say 48-year-old kenneth rush ran into the sisters before midnight on the southbound lanes of the boulevard at large street in the city's oxford circle

section. he never stopped for the girls. he was arrested minutes after the crash. he faces numerous charges relating to their death including charges of drunk driving and vehicular homicide. the crash happened not far from the girls' home. u.s. military confirms the first known combat death of a u.s. soldier under donald trump dmip -- administration. the american soldier was killed when u.s. troops launched an attack against al qaeda. 14 militants were killed in the assault. developing now, yemen is one of seven countries covered by president trump's new travel ban. the blocks citizens from those nations from entering the u.s. for 90 days, one part of executive order has been blocked by federal judge's emergency order which was a victory to thousands protesting at airports across the country. >> race, no fear -- [chanting].

for today at philadelphia international airport after families are turned away under a new travel ban. and we are tracking the possibility of a little snow arriving right here in parts of the delaware valley overnight. meteorologist chris sowers is at the "action news" big board with the latest information from accuweather, chris, just a little bit of snow but it could spell trouble for morning commuters. >> reporter: that's right, because a lot of times when we're talking about minor accumulations, people tend to let their guard down, you get slick spots and you have accidents. we don't want that to happen tomorrow morning, that's why we issued the advisory this morning so you can get prepared. 38 degrees in philadelphia. 40 in millville. 42 in atlantic city, and cape may, checking at 41. satellite and radar believe it or not, there's the system right there, actually it's sitting over charleston, west virginia. it will continue on its journey off to the south anne east, close enough to produce a little bit of accumulation, right

there, mainly south of the philadelphia area. so what you can expect here over the next 12 hours so. after midnight tonight, south jersey and delaware you need to take it slow tomorrow morning as you make your way to work and school. there will be covered roads and slick spots. the viblght will -- visibility l be reduced as the snow is falling. it's the opposite in the city's points north and west. it's a southern storm. you might not see anything northwest of philadelphia, mostly cloudy, perhaps a flurry or snow shower. the roads will be clear. it's just a south jersey and delaware event. the snow accumulations will be like this. all areas south of that line, that's where the snow will stick. we could see a good one to two inches in these locations. i'll come back in just a few minutes and detail that in the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast. guys. >> chris, thank you. we're following breaking news this morning, charges have been filed against a man following a deadly crash on the roosevelt boulevard that killed a ten-year-old girl and her

teenage sister. 48-year-old kenneth rush ran into the officers before midnight on the southbound lanes of the boulevard at large street. rush never stopped for the 10 and 19-year-old girls. he was arrested minutes after the crash. he faces numerous charges related to their death including charges of drunk driving and vehicular homicide. >> more breaking news to tell you about this morning, the u.s. military confirms the first known combat death of the u.s. soldier you ever had donald trump's administration, an american soldier was killed in yemen when americans launched a surprise attack against the al qaeda in that countries. a statement from centerline command said 14 militants were killed -- from central command said 14 militants were killed in the assault. part of president trump's executive order banning

storm tracker 6 live we set it in motion for you, we have a couple of areas of moisture one here coming off lake michigan, you're seeing lake-effect snow there. this is our snow maker overnight tonight, very disorganized passings -- passing over the highway and tennessee valley. if this was from here to pittsburgh, a small shift in the track wouldn't matter we still pick up snow. when the system is this small the slightest shift can change the entire forecast. this keeps it down south near the delmarva. there are three other models that take the system here and plant it directly over top us. we'll have light snow developing overnight tonight after midnight into tomorrow morning, for south jersey and delaware. snow showers after midnight. a steadier light snow should

develop across south jersey and the dare bay region by tomorrow morning. that pushes out to sea. what i agree with is how quickly it will work off the coast. not a system that will stick around for a long duration of time here. as we get into the majority of the afternoon on monday, combination of sun and clouds and gusty breeze. after midnight, south jersey and delaware, snow developing. there could slippery roads because the temperature drops below freezing, visibility could drop to less than a half mile at times while the snow is falling. the snow should end around 10:00 a.m.. it doesn't take much snow to create problems especially if it sticks on the roads. perhaps a coating to an inch in the gray shaded here, south of philadelphia. nothing north and west, one to two inch for south jersey,

correspondent nora muchanic has the details. >> reporter: these are the first up to 2,000 truck loads of sands being dumped in ortly beach which had the do you know destroyed by the neemplet on monday. -- nor'easter on monday, violent waves ate away the dunes back to the boardwalk, leaving toms river vulnerable to flooding. >> if we don't do this quickly if there's another storm, the neck storm will be in the street, i'm afraid. >> reporter: the township has contracted to bring in 30,000 cubic yards of sand to create a temporary do you know a half mile long. it's needed because the entire beachfront in ortley looks like. i lost my house in sandy, now this again. >> reporter: it will cost half million dollars to replace the sand and the beach crossovers damaged in the storm. >> sad, devastating this happened again.
