clouds are on the increase. it's mostly cloudy now, west of the city, and those clouds will continue to increase over the next couple of hours before they eventually decrease later this afternoon. we have a five or six hour window where we'll go mainly cloudy before sunshine. we'll put clouds and sun, breezy, 47 degrees. that's deceiving, the winds will pick up during the day, that will keep the windchills in the upper 30s, low 40s. we may get to 47, but went to feel like 47 -- it won't feel like 47 degrees. when i come back inside we'll look at the warming trend in the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast and the possibility of rain tuesday and wednesday. >> chris, thank you. breaking overnight, the travel band that set off protests worldwide and later appealed has been shot down again by a federal judge in san francisco hours ago. >> the judge's ruling means the

travel ban is still blocked and that allows travelers who were covered by the ban to gain entry into the united states. the justice department has been dealt a blow in the middle of the night. a federal appeals court in san francisco denies the doj's request for an immediate recent statement for president trump's ban. it effects travelers from seven majority muslim countries and all refugees. that order was put in place a week ago only to be slapped with an order from federal judge james robaart. >> my question have there been terror attacks in the united states by refugees or other immigrants from the seven countries listed since 9/11. >> reporter: the president responding what is our country coming to when a judge can halt a homeland security travel ban and anyone with bad intentions

can come into the u.s. the opinion of this so-called judge which essentially takes law enforcement away from our country is ridiculous and will be overturned. the justice department that requested the stay arguedments the sovereign prerogative to admit or exclude alliens to protect national security. a syrian woman will be reunited with her husband. >> i love my husband, i don't want to stay away from him. that's it. >> reporter: the higher court's denial of an immediate stay means legal battles over the travel ban will continue into the coming weeks. good morning weekend will have coverage of the new court decision upholding the block of travel ban, "g.m.a." starts at 8:00 a.m. vice president mike pence came to philadelphia to talk about the new nominee for the u.s. supreme court. the vice president addressed the

federalist society a conservative legal group on independence mall. he told them neil gorsuch is making himself available to everyone in the senate. some democratic senators are hinting they may derail his nomination. south jersey police officer battled through sunoco and flames to reach an -- battled through smoke and flames to reach an 81-year-old woman inside her home in deptford township. the fire started at 3:00 a.m. three police officers were the first to arrive, they were told that an 81-year-old bed ridden woman was in the basement in a hospital bed. the officers were able to reach the woman and carry her out of the home. no word on the victim's condition. we can tell you the woman lives with her son, he escaped without injury. the battalion chief had a minor leg injury after falling down the basement step.

not clear if the home had working smoke detecters. the search goes on for a robber who stole money from a girl scout in center city. anastasia and her mom think the thief got away with 50 to $100 in cookie sales. >> he took the money, the money, and broke out from my pocket, my apron pocket. he ran around the corner into the alley. >> people nearby heard what happened and tried to chase the suspect, but he got away. >> i was really heartened by the good samaritans, we had three separate people chase this guy for us, we don't even know them. a minivan family swung by and gave her four dollars saying tell her there are good people in philadelphia. >> there's a store with a surveillance camera facing where
