have been pulled out of service after inspectors found a crack in a load bearing beam and that will mean fewer cars on the line starting with tomorrow's morning rush. sunday night and the big story on action news is another septa problem with potential to impact many commuters. may remember back this july a defect for septa to pull 100 from the regional line and now it's the frankford l. >> we are in upper dar by with more on the problem, christie. >> reporter: sarah riders say it's more headaches and septa will add more buses for the commuters they are bracing for the rush. starting monday there will be fewer rail cars on septa's market frankford line. >> frustrating but not unexpected any more, you know it's like what is next. >> reporter: word is spreading fast among loyal septa riders. >> that is usually how it is with septa isn't it.

>> no way, i have to get to work everyday. >> reporter: over the weekend cracks in what is called the body bolster or support beam were discovered in two cars prompting the agency to remove other cars that showed signs bearing similar issues. septa was not available for comment late sunday but a spokesman tells action news they expect 40 cars to be off line starting monday morning that is down from 144 needed during peak hours and joe from the transport workers union spoke to us by phone, how dangerous would it be to have a crack in the main load bearing beam? >> it couldn't be worse, it's the part of the car that is the most important part of the car that keeps the wheels to the body and the wheels on the track. >> reporter: last summer septa pulled one-third of the fleet after a structural defect was discovered and septa says they will have additional buses to supplement the cars on the train. riders worry about their

and the plate is hw91367 if you have any information dial 911. from delaware newsroom a dramatic chase and crash in wilmington, an suv sideways between a home and a tree right there shortly before 6:00 police were chasing the driver when speeds became excessive the chase was called off. a few blocks later the driver lost control landing right outside the home on clayton street and the impact of the crash ruptured a gas line forcing evacuation of several homes there and driver suffered minor injuries and taken to the hospital and no word why the suspect was being chased in the first place. police in montgomery county are searching for a second car in connection with a fatal crash yesterday and witnesses tell police that a black dodge challenger was racing a 2007 bmw on eastbound route 422 then the bmw slammed in a tree and two passengers died and the driver is in critical condition.

police say the challenger had fog lights and delaware plates and believed the dodge stopped briefly at the crash scene but then drove away. the search is on to find the killer of a well-known civic activist in philadelphia. 65-year-old winnie harris was found friday night suffering gunshot wounds to the stamp and action in the green program and planted thousands of trees in west philadelphia. >> shocked, i was just so unexpected and winnie was such a dear and lovable person and she gave so much to this community that you wonder how in the world could this ever have happened. >> reporter: neighbors say they heard a woman screams and gunshots the night before harris was discovered and police are asking anyone with information to please give them a call. today marks a painful anniversary for a family from norristown a year ago they lost their 12-year-old son in a house fire the family of sanford the third gathered to remember the
