authorities have arrested a man in bucks county for disturbing crimes against young children. a bomb squad is responding to a home in haverford after a potentially dangerous discovery inside. but the big story on "action news" is the latest train trouble for septa. dozens of cars have been removed from the mark frankford line after cracks were found in two of the cars over the week. annie mccormick is following the impact on commuters and is live at the 69th street terminal in upper darby, annie. >> reporter: sarah septa said the number of riders that septa had monday were lower because of people taking off the day after super bowl. 86 rail cars in total have been taken out of service. septa said this morning 40 were taken out of service.

it's not clear if there's a discrepancy in the numbers, but we're waiting for an update from septa. dozens of rail cars on the market frankford line are out of service after a weekend inspection uncovered cracks in two dozen cars in the body bolster or support beams. septa made the decision to remove other cars that appear to have similar issues. the transit system is used to having 144 cars during peak travel times. septa ordered shut buses. >> we rode down to 52nd street to hop on the bus and ride to 15th street and get back on the el. >> reporter: that was lisa's original plan, she was surprised to get on the train at 52nd street.

at 69th street during the heart of morning rush hour, riders had this to say. >> everything is smooth, i thought it would be hectic, but it's not. no issues at all. very smooth which was a septa official at the norristown train station talking to people. >> reporter: septa called the remove temporary and conducting on going inspectings hoping to add -- inspections hoping to add more cars back into the fleet. >> septa will have an announcement at 1:00 p.m. we'll be taking that live at 6abc.com. the local union is saying they are asking for the national transportation safety board to investigate. they are suggesting they would like that. required -- required -- rider ship is expected to be back to normal tomorrow. back to you. our coverage of the rail car woes continue at 6abc.com with more reaction from

commuters. and updates on septa's efforts to deal with the latest problem. we're following breaking news from bucks county where police announced the arrest of a suspected child rapest. the authorities say the man had five young victims and police fear there are more. nora muchanic has the story and joins us live from the district attorney's office in doylestown. >> reporter: hi, rick, one detective said the human race words have not been invented to describe what they found in the trailer of charles thomas today and over the last couple of weeks during the the investigation. he is an independent cracker and handyman -- contractor and handyman and charged with sexual assaults including his own daughter. we have pictures that the district attorney release over the last several years. he lived at the mid away village trailer park in morrisville.

since before dawn this morning. you can see how the clouds were initially in place over philadelphia. they continue to recede off to the north with the dry air pushing in. that will keep us under the sun all the way. the temperatures are bouncing up nicely. 350 in philadelphia. 52 in wilmington, 51 in millville. 48 degrees in cape may. there's a bit of a breeze running at 13 miles per hour in philadelphia. generally speaking in the afternoon we think the winds are going to ease down a little bit 6 to 12 miles per hour. certainly a day for jackets if you're heading out, maybe a coat, but not bad for this time of year. as we mentioned 51 degrees by 2:00 p.m. looks like we'll get a high of 52 degrees around 3:00 p.m. and still holding the upper 40s by 4:00 p.m. it will get cooler overnight 10:00 p.m. we're down to 40 and tomorrow morning we'll see the numbers zip into the 30s, probably the mid 30s in spots.

as we take a wider look on storm tracker 6 live, you can see down to the west there's a batch of precipitation. doesn't look like much, but it will be working up to the north and west. eventually that precip tip -- precipitation will push in overnight and into tomorrow. there's a freezing rain advisory that kicks in at 1:00 a.m. overnight and goes until 10:00 a.m. on tuesday, only in north hampton county around easton and bethlehem and up to points towards the poconos. i don't expect a lot of precipitation in the time period, even if you get drizzle on the windshield you want to slow it down overnight tonight and tomorrow morning in case it starts freezing up on the roads. i'll track more what's going on this week with future tracker 6. tom brady and the new england patriots are celebrating a thrilling super bowl win. they made history by clawing

the call. the overnight low of 39 in philadelphia. northern suburbs closer to the freezing mark that could give us an issue i'll talk about in a moment. late showers and sprinkles developing overnight. in terms of precipitation after midnight tonight, the clouds get thicker, by 5:00 a.m., we're looking at showers. here's the thing about northern suburbs, if you're in north hampton county, including the city of easton and bethlehem and up through the county and towards the poconos there's a touch of freezing rain. you can see in the overnight not a lot is going on, but up until 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. anything that falls could give you a slick spot on the road. that's up north. for the rest of us we're looking at rain. from 9:30 a.m. to noon it will be be coming down pretty good down there. one more, sorry about that. as we get up to 5:00 p.m. looks like most of the rain is breaking a part and heading off to the north. the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast, we got a
