watch goes into effect. this has been posted for chester, montgomery, bucks, mercer county and all areas north and west. these are the areas with the potential for the heaviest accumulating snow on thursday mornings. now if you look at this on double scan live radar the main piece of energy that develops the storm is beginning to move into the pacific northwest. it doesn't look like much but there is another piece of energy driving down from canada and the two of them join forces over the tennessee valley and transfer the energy to a coastal storm and that is what likely will bring us some potentially heavy accumulating snow by thursday morning. so the timeline shows this is really an early morning event. the precipitation will begin after midnight tomorrow night, and wrapping up around noon on thursday. the heaviest will be right in time for the morning commute on thursday. and it likely will begin as rain
