dobson mills apartment of ridge avenue, searching for this man, rasheed barnes, wanted for several charges. they were not being allowed to enter the apartment complex during the ongoing search. in montgomery county crews are working to find out if gas leaked into the river in conshohocken. officials determined there was a leak and they are trying to find out if it got into the water. investigators say that a destructive house fire was struck by wire in the aernl garage. everyone got out safely thanks to a smoke alarm and the blaze cost an estimated $100,000 in damage. still to come on "action news" at noon. a two story home is no match for a destructive landslide. the latest from the winter storm

died from a self inflicted gunshot wound. 44-year-old william boyett was found dead after a week long man hut and his accomplice mary rice was taken into custody. the pair was in the run since two women in florida were found shot and killed on january 31st. and days later a third woman was found dead in alabama and police say he shot the woman during a home invasion on monday. no word on a possible motive. >> the developer of in a stalled controversial dakota access pipeline project could get clearance from the army as soon as today. the army says it will allow the four state pipeline to cross under a missouri state reservoir and that further environmental studies on the $3.8 billion project will be canceled meanwhile the standing rock sioux tribe iso

well, this year the nfl is rolling out an estimated $1 billion concussion case settlement to players. today a federal judge in philadelphia live streamed a hear something retired players can learn what to expect and the nfl is moving the first $65 million into payments for trust funds this week and the league must pay 120 million dollars into the injury fund over the next six months and it resolves the thousands of lawsuits for hiding what they knew about the risk of repeated concussions.

it is the first unofficial sign of spring in philadelphia. the phillies packed up their equipment truck at citizens bank park this morning and are headed south for spring training in clearwater florida. the truck will travel 1,000 miles before it reaches the sunshine state and the first official workout for pitchers and catchers by the way -- david murphy has that shirt. the first official workout is next week on valentine's day.

this morning. winds north northwest at 14 beginning to pull cool air in. steadily decline through the afternoon and allentown zipping up to 60 degrees and 62 in reading and really comfortable out there. talking with the weather producing paul, and he was dressed in shorts raking leaves on february 8th, and 65 in wilmington and 69 in millville and sitting on 70 in dover, and cooler in cape may. satellite 6 along with action radar showing you the breaks in the clouds and a sun and clouds mix and thicker clouds in the afternoon and a sprinkle and we get ready for colder air and snow. for now though in the lehigh valley, sitting on 60, with temperatures falling over the next several hours and 64 is your high among most coastal areas and clouds and sun mixing and 64 was the high, 45 minutes ago and that was a record. beginning to fall from there in the northwest. overnight tonight we dip down to

33 degrees and we actually are going to drop from there as the snow starts to pull in and it will be cold enough to support the snow on the roadways this morning despite the warm temperatures today especially because we'll be pounded with snow. snow is arriving overnight and here is future tracker 6 and 2:00 in the morning just on the outside of the region and between 2:00 and 4:00 we start to push into philadelphia and it gets heavy during the morning rush hour, all the deep purple is a steady heavy snow banding across the region and you see how the snow line pushes down to the coast and by noon it looks like things are lightening up and heavy stuff is ending 9:00 until 11:00 and western suburbs are beginning to dry out and 2:00 or 3:00 most of the snow is to the east and we may return melting sunshine into play and temperatures will won't help us out much. and precip is getting ready to come in 35 in philadelphia and maybe the first initial flakes
