major snowstorm. we are hours away from the start of all of this. most importantly, philadelphia public schools are closing up shop tomorrow and all after school activity and sports have been canceled. the archdiocese schools will be closed along with urban and suburban school districts. we'll run a list at the bottom of the screen for the broadcast. you can see it there. dann cuellar is live at pra sha. >> christie ileto south and philadelphia. first to meteorologists cecily tynan and adam joseph. cecily, what are we seeing here? >> the storm is intensifying, the center of the storm over southwestern virginia. south of that we have rain. if you look at the radar, this is not a monster snowstorm.

it's small, compact and fast moving. key is how quickly it intensifies off the coast, that determines the rain. we have winter storm warnings or advisories posted. advisories to the south. these are areas the rain holds on the longest. even in philadelphia it begins in rain before a change over. temperatures show the story. we have record highs, philadelphia, 49. 50 in wilmington, allentown 40. the poconos, it's now well down to 31-degrees. the latest thinking with the storm, the rain will last longer southeast of i-95. philadelphia gets the change over around 6:00, the heaviest amount around the warnin mornin. the heaviest snow to the north. for details on the timing, let's

head to adam joseph. adam? >> it's hard to bust out the record-setting warmth we had today. as the system rushes in, 5:00 in the morning, still rain in new jersey and delaware. 5:00 in the morning, rain in southern areas but changing to snow wilmington, philadelphia and in the lehigh valley. as we speed it up a few hours later, 9:00 in the morning, there's the cold air. snowing heavy at 9:00 in the morning for philadelphia, trenton and breaking up toward the lehigh valley. impact scale hasn't changed much. low and moderate at 4:00 in the morning. once we see the heavy bands of snow as the line collapses between 6:00 and 10:00, that's the highest impact with reduced

flames within half an hour. a woman in her 50s treated for smoke inhalation is the only one hurt. >> bucks county cemetery charged with losing a woman is now beinw developments. >> so many people ask me where is mary after a grave digger told the family he would open buried caskets to find her body. she has been found but "action news" has received other complaints including one family that says their son is lost, buried somewhere in an unmarked grave. >> the thing about a mother, you remember the day you had that baby. you remember that day that baby leaves you. >> this mother says she can't forget the night her son was gunned down on the streets of philadelphia and the day he was laid to rest.
