ow is shifting to wind and the left over snow turning possibly to ice. thursday night and the big story on "action news" is the winter storm that swept through the delaware valley making for a messy commute. the city of philadelphia and the suburbs we begin with meteorologist cecily tynan at is the big board with an update from accuweather. >> this is a fast the septemberer of that storm south of cape cod and they are getting blizzard conditions in mass more than a foot of snow. and that system is too fast to bring us the predicted a in philadelphia but areas to the north the biggest of the season. and the poconos 9 inches and center city 2.2 and hockessin delawar1.8nches of snow. and what a difference a day makes yesterdayempera the 60s ande

"action news" delaware valley's leading news program. with ducis rogers. meteorologist, cecily tynan, and jl. jim gardner. this is the way it looked this morning in the lehigh valley. most areas of the tri-state area got the low end of projected snow totals but these parts including allentown got walloped with a half foot of snow and then came the wind with 40 and 50 miles per hour gusts. and the big concern now is all of that slush on the streets could freeze as temperatures plunge tonight. it is thursday night and the big story on "action news" tonight is the biggest snow storm of the year. the actual event went largely
