sandusky name simply will not fade away. this time disturbing new allegations against jerry sandusky's son. like his father before him jeffrey sandusky was escorted out of a belfont courtroom in handcuffs. charged with 14 counts of child sex crimes including statutory and sexual assault, child pornography and other related charges. court records reveal the 41-year-old allegedly asked two teenaged girls for sexual favors and nude photographs. sandusky allegedly sexually assaulted one of the victims. another victim claimed jeffrey sandusky would watch her while she showered. the alleged crimes date back to 2013. the father of the girls went to police when he learned of the alleged inappropriate contact in november. today jeffrey sandusky was arrested at his parents' state college home a house of horrors for many young boys. jeffrey sandusky was a frequent supporter at his father's infamous trial. jerry sandusky was convicted on 45 counts of and sexual

abuse and sentenced to 30 to 60 years behind bars. he's appealing his case. another son matthew sandusky was going to testify on his father's behalf during that trial but changed his mind at the 11th hour and declared, he too, was one of jerry sandusky's victims. and jeffrey sandusky is a corrections officer. the department of corrections says he has been suspended pending the outcome of the case. at last check jeffrey sandusky had not made basement live in thebail.live in the satellite center i'm chad pradelli. jim. >> investigators say one person is dead killed in a house fire on the 5200 block of akron street. firefighters were called to the scene at 4:30. we have an "action news" crew on the scene now gathering details and we'll have updates on 6abc.com and of course on "action news" at 11:00. a van caught fire and

scorched a school bus after colliding in horsham this afternoon. fortunately no students were hurt. they did evacuate safely. the driver of the van did sustain an injury. we don't know about that person's condition. the accident happened at 3:30 at lower state road and horsham road r the bus was transporting children who attend a parochial school in the hatboro horsham school district. the winds pulled apart townhouses under construction. workers were on the roof. fortunately they were not hurt. live on admiral lane is "action news" reporter walter perez. walter how did the two workers get away without being injured. >> reporter: you know jim at this point your guess is as good as mine. construction crews have since fenced off the road as you can see blocking off this part of admiral lane that runs parallel with easton road in

warrington. once again though the good news is that no one was injured. we spoke with a few neighbors who say they were concerned that some of the construction material on top of the building frame might blow off under the power of the winds ripping through this part of bucks county earlier today. but those neighbors admit they never saw this coming. >> i just drove up out here maybe a half hour before it happened. just went to wal-mart and i noticed how the signs were really blowing. i mean, the signs were twisted almost 180 degrees around. >> reporter: it was a bit before 1:30 when the two interior and units of a four unit structure under construction buckled beneath the force of wind gusts which at times reached 50 miles per hour. construction officials say their concern now hinges on the integrity of the two units that remain. inspectors will now work to determine if rebuilding the crumpled units is a and viable option or if they'll have to tear down the rest of it and start from scratch. lee greenberg director of

debris and at times people being bumped around by this wind. if you went outside at any point today, you know it was windy. we didn't speak with anyone who enjoyed it. >> i'm . >> reporter: how are you keeping your balance. >> i'm not. i'm getting pushed everywhere. >> reporter: she was being blown away. some very big trees were being knocked over. the results you see aren't good. on springfield avenue this huge tree decades old crashed into the roof of this sunoco. >> when i heard the bang i kind of backed up and then from there like i came outside all these branches everywhere. yeah, it was a headache, man. >> reporter: here in south philadelphia you can see the high winds splintered this tree right in that half and unfortunately it crashed right into this white mercedes knocked off the side-view mirror and now it's laying right in the intersection of 23rd and wolf. have you ever used that spot before. >> sure. everybody is in that spot. everybody lives around here is in that spot one time or another. good thing i wasn't there today. >> reporter: today with high winds. during the last few days it's been warm and snow, wild weather to say the least. >> i think in the future

meteorologists philadelphia police released the name of a manvolved in hit-and-run. they say 59-year-old anthony racino was drunk when he sideswiped four parked cars. inside one of those vehicles was year-old carolyn teacher was rushed to the hospital but otrussino is charged with er and under the influence. police in burcounty recovered a gun brought to pemberton high school today. the weapon was discovered inside app student's pack back at 1:30 thi afternoon. the superintendent says no live ammunition was found. there were no immediate threats to other tudents or staff. police haven't said why the student had the gun if charges will be filed. trenton police are trying to track down the driver of a box truck that brought down two utility poles this morning. the accident happened at 9 o'clock at burt and hamilton offers. power was knocked out to homes and to businesses in the area including saint francis

hospital. police have that identified the truck through surveillance video. the driver will be issued a failure toaccident and leaving the scene. 20 high school students in camden are being praised for turningheir livesround. theytend the back on track student luncheon tnt highlights students who have fallen behind but who through self-determination and support are now back on track to get their high school diplomas. since 2013 the graduation rate in camden has gone from 53 percent to 70 percent. a new fund will help teach more students in philadelphia how to ice skate. the delaware river waterfront corporation will donate $10,000 to the great skates program. that's $10,000 a year. and they'll seek additional funds from philanthropic and corporate donors. it honors william miller and the program has taught more than 6,000 students to ice skate since the program got started.
