are shot at a vfw post in south jersey and police are searching for a man involved in a home invasion. but the big story is a local father pleading to his son's killer to sounder. he was a bar manager killed in philadelphia overnight. >> reporter: rick, as police search for the suspect who fled this bar after the armed robbery overnight. a family is grieving calling on the suspect to turn himself in. >> that human being that took a life for mere pennies. turn yourself in. >> this father grieves for his son 46-year-old eugene farmer. he was killed overnight at monique's lounge. a bar that the father and son started managing on january 21st. >> today william barry is

fielding phone calls try to absorb what happened his son's jacket lying in the corner by his dj equipment and a beer still on the bar. and barry was not there at the time. three people were, farmer the bartender and one customer when the man entered at 1:00 a.m. >> the man entered the bar with a hooded sweatshirt tied tightly covering his face. >> and i guess my son recognized him and turned to him and there was a struggle and the suspect fired trice hitting farmer twice and then pointed at the bar tenner and announced a robbery. and after the bar turned handed over 175 dollars, the bartender leaned over farmer and took his wallet and car keys and he died at the hospital. he says his father was the

father of two, a hard worker. he is missed. >> i would like the coward to turn himself in. he robbed my family of a young man with a good future ahead of himself. a loving far and loving son. >> there are no surveillance cameras inside of the bar but police are reviewing service footage from other nearby businesses. >> thank you. two men are recould having from a shoot agent a vfw post in new jersey. the post commander says that both victims are security gua s guards. and they reportedly asked a man to leave the building and he became angry and opened fire and she spoke to the wife of one victim and put his hand up to block the face of the gun and that may have saved his life. he is blessed or fortunate because it didn't hit his brain, is he fine, the shot came and came down here and ricochetted and they had to get the bullet

woman's home and pistol whipped the woman in the face cutting her lip and nothing was stolen from the house and police have a suspect in custody but the investigation continues. philadelphia police are still looking for a driver that struck and injured an officer it happened before 10:30 last night at spencer street and west oak lane and taken to the medical center with minor injuries and police are looking for a pontiac grand prix. police are looking for potential victims of an uber driver accused of stealing from his customers. police arrested this man, sad am saying he picked up riders and took them to the delaware beaches and go back to the passengers homes to break in and steal their belongings while they were out and took credit cards and cell phones and computers and even sunglasses and now charged with multiple burglaries and 11 counts of

>> reporter: hi there rick, we are not sure how this got started but it ended with the suspect coming back to the vfw and opening fire. it's a miracle that one of the security guards here was not killed after taking a bullet to the head. we spoke to his wife earlier this morn. >> he was shot in the head. he is very blessed or fortunate because it did not hit his brain. >> diana matthew's husband was one of two security guards shot last night at the vfw. there was a disturbance involving a guest. >> i told my husband you got to leave and usuhered him out the door. came in the gun and shot my husband and shot the other security guard. >> that guard is identified by e. mark peterson shot in the arm and both were air lifted to cooper hospita
