laughable it's so unusual for this time of the year. let's get you outside, this is live sky6 live hd, the ben franklin bridge extremely mild this morning, yesterday we had temperatures in the mid 20s, this morning we've doubled that. look at this, 58 degrees in philadelphia. the normal high for this time. year, which usually occurs around 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., is only 45. we're 13 degrees above average at 6:00 a.m. 46 in allentown, 45 in the poconos, millville, 56. wilmington, 58. dover, 56 degrees. satellite and radar we're starting out with a pretty thick overcast. these clouds will thin out rapidly and later this afternoon, just like yesterday, just about full sunshine. look at the high temperature we're forecasting today. yesterday we managed a high of 68. the normal is 55. today we are setting a high of 72 that would crush the record of 68 set in 1948.

morning clouds until 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 46. 3:00 p.m., 70 and back down to 68. we'll have more 70s in the forecast, i'll have the details in just a few minutes. guys. >> developing right now on "action news" sunday morning, the hunt is on for the person who stabbed a man in center city why it happened remains a mystery. the 25-year-old victim was attacked outside an apartment buildings at 13th and spruce. he was stabbed in the chest and arm around 12:30 a.m., he is in critical, but stable condition at jefferson university hospital. four people were shot near the intersection of 56th and market in west philadelphia. police were called to the scene. all four people were taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. police have no suspects or motive for the shooting. >> 6:02, if you're just waking

up with us. a police officer was hurt involving a chase of several dirt bikes at 7:00 p.m. police thought they heard gunshots and chased several dirt bikers in the area. officers caught up with one biker at allegheny and third street. that's where a female hey patrol officer was injured. she broke her leg. the case is being investigated. a 2-year-old boy is recovering in the hospital and this morning the family is waiting for a hit-and-run driver who injured him to sure render. the toddler was struck by a suv in bam -- ambler montgomery county. the parents were in the park and the boy slipped away from them. >> he ran off and decided to cross the street and got himself in a bad position and slowed

doylestown, 69. downingtown, 68. ocean city, 67. for the middle of february that's outstanding. believe it or not, every single one of those locations will be warmer. dover, millville, 46. trenton, atlantic city, 57 degrees. satellite and radar, part of the reason we're starting out so mild this morning because we have that deck of clouds overhead it's acting like an atmospheric blanket keeps all the heat from the sun trapped at the surface keeping all the temperatures in the 50s, once we lose the clouds we'll see the sun and that warm us up later on. the wider view we have that this right here, you can see that ribbon of clouds stretching through southern canada. that is a back door cold front right in through here, that will swing this way over the next 24 to 36 hours. the air behind is not too cold.

here, we start thinking about sunshine and taking a walk and getting outlet doors, although we have not had much of a winter to begin with this season, but this is certainly rare to see temperatures like this. there's a live shot in atlantic city there's folks on the boards. you can see the camera shaking a little bit. it's breezy out there, but it's a southwesterly breeze which is ushering in the mild air. flip it over to the radar, double scan we set it in motion, a little bit of precipitation sneaking into the area. a few spritzes and sprinkles pushing east in philadelphia through the western portions of salem, gloucester and atlantic county. all this is very, very light, spritzes and sprinkles, glassboro and woodstown reporting sprinkles. that will be out here within the hour. we'll see a gradual decrease in clouds and all the numbers skyrocket. we're sitting at 58 degrees in wilmington, philadelphia, millville and dover, 56.

trenton and atlantic city, 57. cape may, 52. even in the lehigh valley 46 degrees already and 6:30, unbelievable. for today, 72 degrees, that will shatter the record set back in 1948. mostly sunny skies after a few clouds this morning. guys? >> thanks for the update. new information to tell you about this morning, a man is in critical condition after he was shot repeatedly outside a philadelphia steak shop. the action cam at the scene, the steak all takeout restaurant on the 2800 block of cecil b. moore avenue. police found ten bullet shells in the street where the 61-year-old man was shot. the victim was taken to temple university hospital with bullet injuries to the stomach area. no arrests were made. atlantic city police investigating a double stabbing it ended with one person dead another in the hospital. le stabbing happened after 8:00 p.m. last night in the unit

block of north harrisburg avenue. so far no arrests have been made. 17 people are out of apartments after a fire in bucks county. take a look at lake view terrace apartments in fairless hills. investigators think the blaze started in a first floor unit. nobody was hurt and we don't know what caused the fire. bail is set at $250,000 for a delaware county woman accused of stabbing an 8-year-old girl in the head with a butcher knife. the 21 was arraigned yesterday. the 8-year-old was babysitting her toddler. bashir became angry about her babysitting skills. she stabbed the girl and girl had a four inch gash in the head. a cab driver is under

arrest after police say he opened fire on another cabbie. it happened in the busy frankford transportation terminal. "action news" reporter, jeanette reyes has the details. >> reporter: during the hustle and bust bustle at the philadelphia transportation center, police are gathering information. >> i'm surprised this happened in the daytime. this is ridiculous. >> reporter: police say around 2:00 p.m. there were a dispute between two cab drivers outside the frankford terminal, one pulled a gun, the other a knife. a 52-year-old man was shot is in the left side of the stomach and shot once in the head and the neck. >> this is getting more scary, more crimes, you know, balls a couple of years ago it wasn't like at all. >> reporter: we are told this is apparently over a fare.
