police are investigating a second kidnapping in a week, they believe the two incidents are related. the latest abduction was reported later afternoon at the arundle apartment on cross fork drive. this happened as the investigators searched for a man who kidnapped a woman at a hill top apartments. it is gunman forced her back into the vehicle to drive her to nearby atm to withdraw money. look for updates during "action news" at 12:30 p.m. and online at 6abc.com. now an agonizing ordeal for a home invasion victim who was beaten and left to suffer for two days before someone found him tied up in his own bedroom. >> two intruders got into the man's house and left him gagged and bound. a family member found him badly injured. katherine scott is live near the victim's home in juniata park.

>> reporter: sarah and rick police say this was a planned out attack, but they don't know what the motive was or if anything was taken inside the home. the 50-year-old victim is in the hospital where's recovering. >> it's a good hard working guy. >> reporter: this is the home where a brutal home invasion took place friday evening, the victim not to be found until sunday afternoon. >> he is such a good guy. he fixes things. >> it's got to be hard, he's got to be hungry and tied up. >> reporter: the victim is a mechanic who fixes small engines and machines at his shop in the corner of his home. when he works he keeps the garage door open. >> he asks people to come in and drop off lawnmowers and picks them up. >> reporter: the victim was in the garage when two men armed with a gun and wearing masks and

gloves open through the garage door. >> there's nothing across the street to park, you can't see, if they come in, boom, they are in. >> reporter: police say the men grabbed the victim and dragged him to a second floor rear bedroom and tied him up with electrical tape and stuffed a rag in his mouth. the suspects pistol whipped the victim and left after 15 minutes. when the victim did not turn up for a family function on sunday, his brother grew concerned. he climbed up the second floor and found his injured brother and took him to the hospital. the police found a bloody air gun in the bedroom who they say say the victim was assaulted and unable to free himself. there were cameras inside and outside the home, that captured much of the incident. so far police have not released the video. traffic is moving on the

new jersey turnpike after a crash in mounts laurel. police say a large truck overturned in the northbound lanes north of exit 4. the driver lost control and the truck spilled bruise on the highway. crews -- produce on the highway. police righted the truck by 7:00 a.m. a crash on the southbound side of the turnpike caused delays last week. as we look live from sky6 live hd at the jersey shore, atlantic city, pretty picture here, it's cooler than yesterday, but above average and we could see more record warmth later this week. david murphy is tracking the latest conditions outside on president's day monday. >> reporter: rick, it will not be as warm as yesterday when everybody was walking around in t-shirts, but this is a nice afternoon building for the second half of fbi. take a look at satellite -- second half of february. take a look at satellite, we have blue skies over the terrace right now.

the national weather service confirmed a tornado caused extensive property damage near downtown san antonio texas. more than sue homes were hit by -- 150 homes were hit by the twister or straight line winds. crews are on the ground trying to figure out how strong the tornado was. flames tore through a mansion in virginia, records
