clsh -- 6abc.com/weather. somebody shot a man outside a north philadelphia bar and police are searching for the shooter. shots were fired during a disturbance on the 800 block of east allegheny avenue. the man was shot 3 times in the groin area and as he tried to get away, nine bullets hit him in the rear end. the victim is in the hospital. president donald trump's 100 days in office, the commander-in-chief rallied conservatives during a speech in a political rally and bashes the media, again. >> reporter: president trump taking the stage at the conservative political action conference. >> i love this place. the president tweeted 109 people were held or detained for questioning during a 27 hour period due to the a ban. they gave a list of people held that included 147 people. we'll hear more about the travel ban as a new readvised -- revised version is due from the white house next week. 37-year-old terrence federal government son was shot and killed in an auto zone parking lot. woman told police that she was texted earlier in the day, saying he would shoot ferguson, he remains in jail charged with the shooting. 33-year-old an andre hughes

over the last week across the entire country there have been three record low temperatures in 1,453 record highs across the lower 48 over the past seven days, if you expand this and go the month of february as a whole there's actually been over 4,000 record highs set in the last 25 days, this has been an unbelievably mild february across the united states. it comes to an end, the cold shot they are transient in nature, they are moving on by, even though the colder air is pushing through here, it will sweep through sunday, it is gone on monday, we're in the 50s and 60s. this line of storm will get hefty in the afternoon with the heating of the day and the strong winds you have the west we could see thunderstorms that approach severe criteria. the main reason why we are getting one last shot from old man winter.

i've never seen anything like this in all my years forecasting these are new record highs set across the entire lower 48. for the weekend alone we've seen 1400 record highs. 4,219 record highs. year to date, 7,000 record highs across the entire lower 48. this is an unusual stretch of weather, but i don't think many are complaining about it. it's been really, really nice out there. today is another good one, before we get the chilly scene for tomorrow. in between the two air masses we get a line of showers and thunderstorms, we start to see the shades of red and maroon that's an indication we could see heavier downpours and strong gusty winds. this will continue through the afternoon hours and into the first participant of the evening before things clear out overnight tonight. let's say between the hours of 3:00 p.m., far western suburbs, 8:00 p.m., jersey shore, keep an eye to the sky. dangerous lightning strong gusty winds, 45, 55 miles per hour.
