driver lost control in the westbound lanes at 9:00 a.m.ment the truck went over into the jersey barriers into the eastbound lanes. the driver was not seriously injured, but think the tank was punctured that caused an estimate 300 gallons of fuel to spill. contingency plan in place. a child was trapped inside a burning home. jeanette reyes has the story. >> reporter: fire trucks and other emergency vehicles lined the 6500 block of north revere street in west oak lane after a fire broke out in a row home around 6:30 p.m. saturday. >> i saw them carrying two people to the hospital. >> reporter: neighbors and friends and residents huddled in the cold waiting for word on any victims. >> she going to be okay. don't cry, don't cry, she going to be all right. >> reporter: they learned the 13-year-old friend was not among the injured, however firefighters confirmed the young victim was rescued at the nick of time. the child was found in a bedroom and taken to the hospital along with the parents. >> companies encounter heavy fire on the first and second

floors. somebody mailed an herculean effort to get to the young child. >> reporter: the child is in critical, but stable condition. >> we were fortunate to get to the young child and hopefully in time we made a difference here. >> reporter: the investigation into the cause of the fire continues at this hour, although officials believe it started somewhere on the first floor of the home. reporting in west oak lane, jeanette reyes channel 6 "action news." this morning fire officials in north jersey are investigating the massive fire that killed a two-year-old child. the 6-alarm fire severely damaged nearby church in union city. the toddler's fire was seriously burned in the fire, swfl. strong winds swept the flames from one building to another structure and the steeple of joseph and michael catholic church. 50 people are out of their

closed between willow grove and bensalem exit. state police tells "action news" the driver lost control in the westbound lanes at 9:00 a.m., the truck went over or threw the jersey barrier into the eastbound lanes. the driver was not seriously injured, plus they think the truck's tank was punctured that caused an estimated 300 gallons of fuel to spill. chopper 6 hd live over the scene where you can see crews are working to fix the jersey barrier and also clean up the fuel so they can open the roads again. the process is expected to take a while. the turnpike shut down is causing major, major traffic delays in the area. if you're planning on heading out. we have detour information on the website at 6abc.com. there are reports of turmoil inside the white house this weekend, sources telling abc news, the president had furious exchangeses -- exchanges

1:30 a.m. there they found a 46-year-old manner on the sidewalk with 6 stab wounds. he was taken to einstein and is in critical condition. investigators believe a 29-year-old woman that the victim is somehow related to was the one who stabbed him, but it is not clear why. she was taken into custody. a child was critically injured after getting trapped in-house fire in philadelphia's west oak lane section. the action cam was at the scene on the 6500 block of north revere street. firefighters found the child in a second floor bedroom and took her to the hospital in critical, but stable condition. the child's parents were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. the cause of the fire is not yet known. from our delaware newsroom, south bethany beach could be smoke free. city leaders will consider an ordinance to enact a public beach smoking ban. south bethany is the only beach

attention, the beautiful sounds of music, hundreds of unusual musicians showed up in key west florida for the 355 annual conch shell blowing 0 contest. they were judge on the quality of the sound and how long and loud they could make it. there's a woman there who said she practiced all year by blowing into the conch shell when she wanted her neighbors to know it was happy hour. that's the one time you want to hear that. >> reporter: i didn't realize that shell made that kind of a noise. >> they have more of them in key west than we have in philadelphia. >> reporter: we have a lot of cold here right now this is not going to be a beach day. we get the clam shells, you see
