a first check of the forecast. >> walter, it's early in the season to track a winter storm across the area, but we have cold air and moisture from the south as we get into monday and into tuesday. right now, the cold, saturday's chill, a high of 32. 19-degrees below where we should be this time of year. part of the reason it was so cold today, we had blustery wind out of the northwest. right now, 24 in reading, poconos 12, 30 in came may and 28 beach haven, windchill in the teens. with action radar, we have a clear sky across the region. winds will start to slacken and with that temperatures fall off to the teens and 20s tonight. second half of the weekend, it's sunny and breezy sunday, high

team of meteorologists by facebook and twitter. crews had a real battle on their hands when a fire broke out in a building in west philadelphia. it was three alarms before it was under control. amazingly, no one was injured. bob brooks is live from the scene. >> by the time i got off the phone it was an inferno. it was that quick. >> an inferno indeed. that's wayne christian. when he was working on the house next door when he looked out and saw the building in flames. he says there was one man inside. >> i kicked down the door and he got out. >> whoever the person was, he didn't stick around. >> he's not even around now. >> fire officials say around 9:30 they got the call about a burning building on average arc.

it could have spread fast. >> absent the great work by our firefighters, every one of the homes would be on fire, a real catastrophe. they did an incredible job. several of the row homes have heat damage. one of them is a woman named shakina. my daughter called me and said the house was on fire. they told her she couldn't go in. >> while crews battled the flames, all she could do is watch. >> we certainly hope for minimal damage of surrounding homes. as for cause, the fire department says it's under investigation. no injuries this evening. reporting in west philadelphia, bob brook, channel6 "action news." >> police in philadelphia are investigating a suspicious death

in hunting park. a body of a man in his 40s was found at 4:00. no other information has been released at this time. >> a 13-year-old is critically injured after being shot in the head inside a chinese restaurant last night at 10:30 on west hunting park avenue. the teenager was sitting in the restaurant when two other teenagers came into the store and started talking to the victim. one of the teens pulled out a gun and fired one shot hitting him in the head. these surveillance video images are from the shooting. if you have information please call police. >> a three-year-old from harrisburg is dead and two other girls are in critical condition after a fire from a hover board. it was recharging when they heard crackling before it burst into flames.

one person jumped to escape the fire, three others were rescued by ladder. a firefighter on the way to pick up gear was struck by another driver. that firefighters was pronounced dead tonight. more on that story in the next half hour. >> joni sledge of sister sledge has passed away. she was found unresponsive at her home in arizona. she was only 60 year old. the breakthrough record, "we are family" went platinum. they performed for the pope in 2015. memorial services are being scheduled. >> much more to come. last weekend president trump a accused former president obama of tapping his phones and now congress is demanding proof. >> st. patrick's day isn't until friday. celebration is under way in delaware valley. >> and winning the big east

the end of the month. the house intelligence committee has asked for proof of president trump's claim that his phones were tapped during the election. the committee has asked proof be provided by some time monday. >> an out spoken federal prosecutor says he was fired by the trump administration after he refused to resign. back in november, then president elect trump asked him to stay on but yesterday, jeff sessions asked for resignations for the 46 attorneys that were holdovers from the obama administration. today he was notified he no longer has a job. >> overseas in syria, twin bomb blasts have killed 40 people

we have issued from the national weather service late monday night through tuesday night at 8:00. there is the potential of significant snow fall across the region. trabbing the coast, this is the area of low pressure that starts to intensify working its way up the eastern seaboard. with the no nor'easter, strong winds. the exact track, the latest model further east. the models vary run to run monday night into tuesday. there is plenty of moisture as the cold air is entrench td across the region. key points and something to keep in mind is that heavy snow is possible west and along the track of the storm. how much rah ree marine influen, temperatures in the 40s. this has an impact on the snow
