materials he wrote himself. >> now to a heartwarming stories, two boys under the age of ten are spending their spare time helping the homeless. bradley and brady took time to make lurches and went into the city to hand them out to those in need. trish hartman is live in center city with their story. trish, this is a great story, what are you learning about it? >> reporter: i love everything about this story, gray, these two little boys have hearts of gold. their parents said there was their idea. they want to keep feeding the hungry their parents said as long as they wants to do they will come into the city to feed the hungry, this is brady and bradley daniel ages 4 and 6. they are in smyrna, delaware. this started a month ago when they got tickets to see the circus for valentine's day. they wanted to feed the hungry

and made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. they gave out dozens of sandwiches and they had such a good time doing and they decided to do it again. they prepped their sandwiches and set out to give those who needed a meal. we caught up with them where they got started. >> we made apples, we made peanut butter sandwiches and chocolate put it in the bag. >> and we have jelly and cookies. >> why do you think it's important that you do this? >> because people need to have food to make sure they don't die. >> reporter: that's very important. how did you get the idea to do this? >> it was all my idea. >> and me.

incident at 1600 pennsylvania avenue. this time a man reportedly declaring he had a bomb and pulling up to a white house in a car. he was stopped at the gate by secret service and arrested there. this is the third high-profile white house scare in coming over a week. this incident coming hours after an intruder jumped the white house barrier before being detained on saturday. this one while trump is away in florida. just last week while the president and his family was inside the white house, secret service say jonathan tran was able to roam the area for 16 minutes. he was hiding behind a pillar before they arrested him. this puts the secret service under increased scrutiny as congressional lawmakers express concerns.

>> philadelphia police looking for a person who shot a man several times and left him for dead on the street. police were called to the 7400 block of stinton avenue in east mount heiry. when they go to the -- mount airy. when they got to the scene they found a man shot a number of times. he died at the hospital. police have no systems or motives. nobody was seriously hurt when two cars collided head on near boathouse road. police were called to the scene on kelly drive after 11:00 p.m. the driver had to be closed in both directions while crews cleared the wreckage. it was reopened two hours later. we are told one driver had minor injuries. no word on what caused the crash. fire forced a delaware county family out of their home this weekend. flames and smoke ripped through the second floor of the row home in chester last night. a family of flee was able to

make it out of the home safely. no injuries were reported. fire officials are searching for what sparked the blaze. >> a harrisburg firefighter who was killed on his way to a call was laid to rest. funeral services were held for lieutenant dennis deveaux yesterday. he died last week when his vehicle was hit by an intoxicated driver. he was heading to a fire caused by an exploding hover board. two children died in the fire. fell firefighters remembered him going above and beyond for others particularly children. >> if more people were like denny, if we all lived our lives like denny, it would be a much better world. >> he leaves behind a wife and four children. this vigil was held in penns grove salem county to honor a man killed a week ago.

it's a nice day, but with the wind it makes the air temperatures feel like the low to mid 30s at this hour. the camera is is shaking around a little. we're in the middle of a cold front. we're seeing temperatures below seasonal averages. during that stretch we're 10 full degrees below where we should be for this time of the year. january and february it was so mild we had so many days in the 60s and 70s. all of a sudden we get into march and we see the complete opposite. we should be warming instead we're getting colder. windchills at this hour, 38 in philadelphia. allentown 36. millville, 39. wilmington, 40. and it feels like a blustery 41 in cape may. satellite and radar area of low pressure pushing on by to the south. skies beginning to brighten up. we're seeing a mixture of sun and clouds this afternoon. again, this low here, this is pulling its way out to sea.
