good afternoon sara is off we begin this noon with breaking news. disturbing charges against a youth ice hockey coach who worked at arenas across our area. that he had sexual contact with minors in new jersey and delaware and coaches students in pennsylvania and investigators fear there could be more victims. gray hall is live in woodbury where they announced the details in this case. >> reporter: as you mentioned. these are serious and disturbing allegations. police announced the arrest after a nine month investigation, some of these cases date back to the 1980s, here is the suspect again. he is 55-year-old walter ferdinand he coached youth ice homy teams and hosted clinics and that he had sexual contact with a boy in depford, new jersey, in 1994, and is facing

charges against the 12-year-old boy in the summer of 1994, and that it took place in the usct'. and charged with nine counts of unlawful contact in newcastle, delaware and they say there is at least two victims in their case. they say he coached hockey and conducted the skating clinics in knowledge, pennsylvania, delaware and new york and coached in vermont. locally he held clinics at the ice arena in washington township. just moments ago the prosecutor discussed the case involving the victim in new jersey. >> diverse states in 1994 with a minor 12 at the time. the defendant committed the crime of sexual contact but touching an intimate time of the victim's body for sexual

gratification, these were committed in the defendant's apartment in depford township, new jersey. where he lived in the 1990s. the victim played in a hockey league that the suspect coached. >> the big concern here is that there could be more victims out there. police want to hear from you if you think you may be a victim. you are urged to contact authorities. we'll bring you updates on "action news" throughout the day. live in woodbury, new jersey, gray hall, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. we are also following new developments from clayton, new jersey, where police identified a man found dead overnight and his death is ruled a homicide. 33-year-old kenneth mosley was shot inside of his girlfriend's home. and they believed he approached an open door and there was open

fire. the prosecutors office is now handabling the investigation. we have an update to a tragic story we brought you last night at 11:00. police say that a woman and her 6-year-old son found dead if their apartment in delaware county were stabbed multiple times. jeanette reyes is live at the scene in maple shade with the latest. >> reporter: well, burlington county prosecutors tell us minutes ago they are looking into these deaths as homicides. that is how they are investigating it moving forward. "action news" spoke to a friend of the family and shared with me the moment the husband walked in on the bodies of his wife and son. >> cops came flying in and then up all night watching that -- >> officials except much of the morning tight-lipped about the circumstances around the death of his wife and son and then the

burlington county prosecutors office. confirmed that the mother and son were stabbed multiple times in their apartment. the frantic call came thursday evening from the distraught husband who discovered the bodies. a friend of the family told "action news" that the young indian couple both software engineers moved from india a few years ago. they work for an organization that serves indians in crisis. >> there were policies to help people. so know they don't have any other family members here. the father was on the end of the assistance he often provides other families. in distress and in shock he shared what he found. >> he couldn't find his wife and

son. and then he called honey, and his son and he didn't answer, he opened the bedroom and found those two people like that. blood everywhere. >> and officials want to be clear that there is no indication that this is a hate crime but the investigation continues. reporting live in burlington county, jeanette reyes, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. in other news, at least one person was rushed to the hospital following a violent assault in montgomery county, authorities say that the person was interested on the 800 block of norris street. they are not releasing details about the nature of the attack or the extent of the injuries. investigators in delaware county are trying to find the cause of this house fire that chased a family from their home and injured two people overnight. this was the scene just after 4:30 a.m. on shoe brook lane in as ton, they found billowing

authorities in london say that the 52-year-old suspect behind this week's terror attack there was born in the uk under a different name. police say that he was born adrian russel ajau. and was shot to death by police after he drove his car into a crowd on wednesday and stabbed a police officer outside of parliament. four people were killed including the police officer including one american. and nine other people suspected of planning the attack are now in police custody. service along the new jersey transit is suspended at penn station in new york after an amtrak rain derailed during the morning rush, it apparently clipped a new jersey transit train in the derailment and
