storm tracker 6 live at 6abc.com/weather. 7:02 a.m., we want to update you on breaking news we're following all morning. here's what we know at this hour, two people opened fire inside a nightclub in cincinnati, ohio. we learned one person has died. police say there were hundreds of people inside the club at the time of the shooting. we know that more than a dozen others were injured in this. at least three people were taken to the hospital, they were listed in critical condition. right now the search continues for those gunman who opened fire this nightclub is called cameo nightclub in ohio, police do not have a motive so far for the shooting, but of course we'll continue to follow the breaking situation all morning and bring you new information as it becomes available on air and, of course, on our website 6abc.com. rallies were held across the nation and right in philadelphia this weekend in support and against president

donald trump. >> the dueling rallies were billed as make america great again. in many places, scuffle also have broken out. >> bob brooks was at the rally in center city yesterday. >> reporter: the day started out as a pro trump rally on independence mall. >> i just wanted to put forth my support for our country and veterans and president. >> reporter: the crowd heard from numerous speakers. ♪ and participated in patriotic songs. a mostly masked protest group marched around the mall, burning things and igniting flares. according to the organizer of the trump rally said the plan was to march from the mall to the art museum steps. he said he was asked to cancel

the march he oblige. >> we were asked to leave because of violence. they are concerned about men women and children. i can understand that. saturday the protest group marched instead. many times they blocked our cameras. once they reached logan square chaos erupted. some members of the trump rally decided to march, some masked as well. the protester caught wind, the two groups were set to clash. but never were able to, philadelphia police department was the star today, as two groups that couldn't have more differing owe opinions on politics took to the streets. both groups marched keeping things in horde was not easy and -- keeping thinks in order was not easy, and many times seemed like it was at the breaking point.

restaurant this morning. this happened on contractors way in bear, delaware. the man was leaving the restaurant and the vehicle hit him trapping him underneath. he was rushed to christiana hospital in critical condition. not clear what caused the driver to lose control, but no arrests were made. new jersey chris christie is calling on the federal government to have cuba return a woman convicted of killing a state trooper. joe and chessimar is the most wanted state fugitive wanted in the death of trooper warner forrester killed in a traffic stop on the new jersey turnpike in 1973. chessimar was sentenced to a life in pressen, but escaped to cuba in 1979 where castro granted her asylum. dozens of wilmington teens stayed up all night for a good

everyone, 7:23 sunday morning, forecast for today looks different than yesterday. temperature-wise lots of clouds. we have limited sun yesterday and no sun at all today. the numbers are cooler. jersey shore, 50 degrees, chilly sea breeze kicking in. in the poconos, 42 degrees, very chilly today misting and drizzle and showers from time to time. warm front approaching, yesterday the front came through in the form of a cold front that's why the numbers are cooler. now the front is hanging out like this right here. it is being, i guess it is just sitting there right now. it is waiting for another frontal system right here to pick it up and push it forward. it will do so overnight tonight and through the day tomorrow. it will return in the form of a warm front and all of a sudden the temperatures get really warm again, once the front crosses us and moves into upstate new york. look at the arrows out of the

spca took custody of the dog late last night. they plan to evaluate him and put him up for adoption. jeff chirico channel 6 "action news." >> there's another story of a successful rescue, a number of dogs were flown about nine thousand miles from asia and welcomed by a group in delaware county. the providence animal shelter rescued the dogs from thailand. they are lived on the streets. rescue dogs thailand reached out to the dogs in media hoping to give them a better life. >> these dogs came from a shelter down there, they had no way out. because we're a live saving organization opening our doors to helping those in most of need we're able to do that. >> the shelter said the dogs will be put up for adoption starting monday morning. >> from our new jersey newsroom, firefighters believe a

shooting outside a nightclub this morning. joshua coen was charged with murder. police responded to the sound of gunshots. when they got there they witnessed him shooting at people. one officer returned fire. he got into a vehicle and left the scene. he was later captured. three people were rushed to the hospital. a 28-year-old man did not survive. friends family and fans gathered to pay their final respects to joni sledge. ♪ funeral services were held for the legendary singer in north philadelphia yesterday. sledge was a philadelphia native and one of the founding members of the 1970s r&b group sister sledge. they were known for the break-threw album -- break
