of chester and no one knew she was there. the big story is the mix up that left a little girl on the city street corner and her mother in panic. >> dann cuellar is where the little girl should have been dropped off in clifton heights and an ordeal for everyone involved. >> that's right, jim. every parent's nightmare, a five-year-old doesn't come home from school and for a while, nobody knows where she's at. it happened to a mother in clifton heights. >> i started panicking. >> amber was waiting for her five-year-old daughter alexis to come home from school. she was at the bus stop at 3:30 waiting if are the number 10 bus to arrive. it left at 3:15. when it arrived, her heart sank.

>> alexis didn't get on the bus. >> when her mother called the school, she wasn't there either. >> she started freaking out. >> for 30 minutes, no one knew where alexis was. they had moved from clifton heights three weeks ago and to the was the first day on the new bus. there was no adult there to pick her up. a relative was at the old home picking up her belongings. he seen her at the corner and was like, is that the relative? >> he flagged down the bus driver to find out what was going on. >> finally, alexis was reunited. if my brother-in-law wasn't there and they would have left her there, somebody could have took her. she could have been hit by a

car. they have to get it together. they have to figure out a system. they have to get it figured out. i'm transferring her out of the school. she's not even going tomorrow. >> the school is blaming the bus company. the bus company is blaming the school. we were not able to reach either because it was after hours. the good news, alexis is back with her family. jim? >> swat officers raided a home in north philadelphia where they thought a suspected gunman was holed up. no one was inside but they recovered a handgun. this started when a 17-year-old was shot at 4:00 in 17th and susquehanna. the hunt for the gunman continues. >> the sprinkler system forced

the evacuation of a nursing home tonight. 110 residents were taken to an adjacent facility many needing canes or wheelchairs. no one was hurt. >> a fire broke out on the 100 block in the locust hill complex. firefighters had the blaze under control in half an hour. a team of first responders and good samaritans helped to save an elderly woman and three children from a fire in crestwood new jersey. the do gooders rescued the older woman and her dog from an upstairs unit. she suffered smoke inhalation. then they saw a man and three children on the second story balcony. the only way to save them in time was for the uncle to drop

them to the rescuers below. >> the smoke pushed them to the balcony. >> the fire marshal determined the fire was an accident but has not released the cause. president trump signed executive orders that roll back obama era efforts to curb global warming, effectively eliminating a dozen measures in boosting domestic energy production including coal. trump invited coal miners to the signing saying, we'll put the miners back to work. >> my administration is putting an end to the war on coal. we'll have clean coal. with today's executive action, i'm taking steps to lift the restrictions on american energy, reverse government intrusion and

cancel job-killing regulations. >> trump's promises may run counter to market forces converting coal-fire power plants to cheaper burning natural gas. >> for the first time a republican congressman has called on devin kne deven nunese himself. he came under fire for canceling a public hearing of the committee. critics say the white house demanded the cancellation because they didn't want former acting attorney general sally yates to testify in public or private. philadelphia police union boss was one of those invited to the white house this morning. john mcnez by sat at the table with the vice president and attorney general.

trump thanked the police for supporting his campaign and pledged to help make america safe again. >> district attorney seth williams left court today with three days to get a new lawyer. he was charged with 23 count in a bribery case and his current attorney diamondstein wants off the case because williams doesn't have the money to pay him. >> the eric frein trial shifts to opening statements. the jurors were picked from chester county because of intense media exposure to the ambush of two state troopers. trooper dickson was killed. another was injured. frein led police on a manhunt

before being captured. >> a man that shot an alleged suspect won't face charges but the suspect will. marcus quinones held up the laundry center at knife point sunday. the owner chased after him and shot him twice in the chest when the suspect turned toward him. quinones remains hospitalized in critical condition. during the chase he dropped the cash which was scooped up by bystanders. >> specialists begin repairs at the jewish cemetery in philadelphia. 200 gravestones were toppled or damaged at mount carmel cemetery last week. it's expected to be a slow process because of the tight

spaces between the head stones and trying not to cause more damage. restoration work should last several weeks. usually they make music but members of the westminster choir today made their point by protesting. rider owns the choir college but today announced they may try to sell the college all together allowing the singers to stay on their campus in princeton and keep their facilities. commissioners in upper dubland heard concern about a proposed large scale mixed use development. they want to develop the 25-acre site corner of drescher town and welsh road. promenade would consist of a restaurant, apartments.

>> 21-year-old elisabeth rodrigues turned herself in saying she dropped the teens off at the house and fled when she heard gunshots. the make my day law allows deadly use of force in defense. >> a woman is upset at the tsa after a pat down to her son. her son was searched after he forgot to remove a laptop from his bag. aaron has a sensory disorder. >> i have always been sensitive to people touching me. when he started touching me, i started to have hives. while the pat down took two minutes, they spent 45 minutes at the check point.

they want an apology. >> the republican house voted to undo privacy protections created under president obama. if signed by president trump, service providers like comcast and verizon can track what you do online, sites you visit, apps you use and sell the information to advertisers without your consent. republican lawmakers say google and facebook track you so it's unfair to require comcast and verizon to get your permission. google and facebook are free and there are alternative options. >> wells fargo is willing to pay $110 million to settle a lawsuit. accounts were opened without

customers knowing and against the customer's wishes. the wells fargo new ceo says this is a step in the journey to make things right with their customers. >> the coast guard is showing off its haul of cocaine, 16-tons seized at sea during a 26 day deployment. they unloaded it today in fort lauderdale. the drugs worth $420 million wholesale. all of the busts took part in the eastern pacific ocean off of the central and south american coastlines. coast guard officials say you can see the smugglers floating palettes of drugs into the ocean in an attempt to escape. 30 suspects were caught and hauled in. >> the fda has approved a new eczema drug a different approach to treatment.
