driving on summer dale avenue. the driver then crossed six lanes of traffic before crashing into a fence on the outer lanes of the boulevard. they're looking for a white cadillac believed to have been involved. a woman was killed in crash overnight after the driver of the car she was riding in swerved to avoid a deer. the car was severed in half after it smashed into a pole in roxboro. this happened around 1:00 this morning. police say both the woman and the driver were ejected from the car. the woman was rushed to einstein where she later died from her injuries. the man was taken to the hospital in stable condition. time 9:02. early morning fire force add family out of their home, firefighters arrived and put out the flames in the is city's holmesburg section. the fire happened just before 5:00 this morning, a family of four managed to escape from the fire without getting injured. the fire marshal's office

investigating what caused the fire. philadelphia firefighters also called to battle a fire in kensington. the 3100 block of way mouth street. took 36 minutes to get it under control. burned the first and third floors of the home, no injuries reported. cause of this fire is still under investigation we may learn more about what happened to flyers goalie michael neuvirth after heart stopping moments at the wells fargo center >> quite the dramatic scene, you can see players from both teams referees and coaches rushing to his side. what you're looking at is video from above. 29-year-old neuvirth goes down, it happened during the first period of flyers game against the devils. he collapsed in the net laid there for awhile. look at this in a daze. he was taken to pennsylvania hospital. he had to be checked out. team mates and general manager ron hakstol tell action news that the player had not been

feeling well before the game started. neuvirth was -- he was filling in for goalie steve mason, who was also sick. anthony sellers was called out from the minors to finish the game. they plan to have more information later. the flyers went on to win the game 3-0 and avoided eliminatation. heavy rain may have led to a collapse of a house in southwest philadelphia. it came character down around 2:30 yesterday morning, as the dust settled. neighbors told bob brooks they heard a voice from the rubble. hollering for help. crews pulled the man out and took him to penn presbyterian hospital where he was listed in stable condition. residents say the man was in the vacant home before. the row homes are in very bad

areas of low pressure develop within that secretary of state. each one will roll across the country. here's the next one we're watching here, this is central and western portions of texas. look at the squall line developing west of austin, they have a tornado watch in effect extends right in between dallas and houston and early in the morning, they're seeing this weather here, all of this will be charging north and east over the next couple days. so this is the second storm coming off of what we saw friday. friday we picked up a ago inch and a half of rain on average throughout the area. this won't be quite as heavy but still could pack a decent punch, we could see at least an inch of rain with the system monday night into tuesday afternoon. it could actually switch over to thunderstorms by tuesday afternoon. so we'll go over to future tracker 6 close up. today is clear most of monday is clear with increasing clouds, monday is when we start seeing few of the first rain drops arrive, some could come down at a pretty good clip right away especially west of philadelphia that will continue through the overnight hours right to the morning commute tuesday. the good news is the heaviest by

tuesday morning is already gone, it's lifting north and east, we're left with a little bit of light rain at that point, maybe drizzle, patchy fog, things like that. by afternoon, it's mainly just cloudy with peaks of sun and hit or miss thunderstorms developing and if we get underneath a couple of these storms, more downpours could develop. rainfall totals kind of look like this, in the span of a week, we're starting from what happened friday. where we picked set up a good inch and a half of rain some areas over two inches friday. on top of that close to an inch tuesday followed by at least an inch thursday, maybe a little bit more some of the modelling has us up to about 1.5 thursday, so you got all of this stuff and it's about three and a half inches of rain about a week's time. that's a lot of water in a short time. certainly wouldn't be surprised if by thursday they're issuing flood watches again. breezy real nice finish to the weekend. 62 degrees for the forecasted high. straight up and down here across the board. 53 by 11:00 a.m.

vehicle, cunningham was killed and two other 14 were injured when two atvs collided. happened in taberna afternoon, none of the victims was wearing a helmet. a 13-year-old is carbon monoxide leak is likely responsible for this. it happened at a hotel in michigan. 12 others were overcome by the leak but survived. six children were found unconscious on the hotel's pool deck. fire investigators say the carbon monoxide came from a faulty heater. two hotel workers and three officers who responded to the scene were also taken to the hospital >> there was no life in those bodies. absolutely nothing. i couldn't even see them breathing are >> when we first went in we went in with the monitors, the monitor went off, and the time it was taking us to go back out and get air packs to come back in, we can grab the patients and

northbound outer lanes of the roosevelt boulevard are back open at this hour. they were closed several hours following a deadly shooting this morning. >> police say man was shot and killed driving in his car. that shooting led to the closure of part of the roosevelt boulevard. action news trish live in feltonville. trish what are learning from investigators about this? >> reporter: police are still looking for that shooter and investigators have release add the scene here at summerdale avenue and roosevelt boulevard. this is where police believe the shooting happened around 6:00 this morning, before the victim traveled across roosevelt boulevard before ending along the outer lanes of the boulevard where he ended up crashing into the fence along the outer lane be let's take a look at video from earlier this morning. police were called to the roosevelt boulevard around 6:00 this morning for reports of a man who was shot in a car. when they arrived, they discovered a 39-year-old man

suffering from multiple gunshot wounds pronounced dead at the scene. police say the victim was traveling eastbound on summer dale avenue when an unidentified man in a white cadillac pulled up and shot into the victim's car. striking him in the head. the victim then traveled across six lanes of the boulevard. crashing into the fence in the outer lane where adams avenue, according to investigators, now, police have not released the victim's name. police have released the scene around 9:15 this morning and traffic has been slowly moving since that time. and as for an arrest or motive, we're still awaiting to hear from philadelphia police as this investigation into the deadly shooting continues. live in the city's fell tonville section, trish hartman channel 6 action news. a woman killed in crash after the driver of the car she was riding in swerved to avoid a deer. the car was cut in half after smashed into a pole.
