wind it will feel more like the mid 50's. heavy showers and r thunderstorms at the lone star state. what you can expect in the accu weather seven-day forecast. we have a developing story this noon, a man is dead. gunned down as he was driving in the feltonville section of the city >> police are looking for clues leading to the victim's killer. this happened on summer dale avenue just before 6:00 a.m. and part of the boulevard is shutdown much of the morning. trish hartman is live with the latest. the boulevard is reopen now. >> reporter: traffic is moving but police are looking for the shooter. police concentrated on this part over the intersection at summerdale avenue and the boulevard and this is where

police say the shooting happened. once the victim was shot he ended up traveling across the lane to the boulevard and crashing into the fence along the outer lanes and that's where police found the victim's body. >> neighbors in the area of summer dale and the boulevard round 6:00 they heard gunshot >> i wasn't going outside and the car turned the corner. i turned out the lights. >> reporter: this neighbor doesn't want to be identified said about five shots rang out before witnessing a white vehicle fleeing the scene. police say they were called to the area around 6:00 a.m. when they arrived, they discovered a 39-year-old man with gunshot wounds to the head and neck in his car, pronounced dead to scene. police say it happened when the victim was stopped at the light at summerdale avenue and the southbound side of the boulevard when a white cadillac pulled up alongside the driver's side and fired shots. the clark fled south and the

victim swerved across the boulevard charactering into the fence. >> i didn't see anything. i heard it. and i had no idea they shot him right there. they shot him right there. in that car and that's how that car went from this area to the other side. >> reporter: no weapon has been recovered and no motive. >> thank you. i apologize for at the audio. there's an update to a story. happening right now, 64-year-old woman is in the hospital, she's recovering after getting trapped under a train. this happened at the philadelphia international airport. the action cam there at the scene, septa's regional rail line at airport terminal a. right now, no word on how that woman ended up under the train. we do know she's in stable condition at presbyterian

hospital. asked septa to suspend the airport line for a brief period. the line is up and running again. a 22-year-old woman died in a 59 crash overnight when a driver swerved to avoid a dear. the car split in half a when it smashed into a pole in philadelphia's rocks rock section at about 1:00 this morning, police say both the woman and driver was thrown from the car. the woman went to einstein medical center. she later died from her injuries. we're told the man is in stable condition. a family in philadelphia's holmesburg section had to scramble for safety when a fire tore through their home. firefighters heavy smoke pouring out of the floor. when they arrived just before 5:00 this morning, the family of four were able to escape. the fire marshal's office is investigating the cause of the fire. heart stopping moments on the ice at the wells fargo center last night when flyers

goalie michael neuvirth collapsed during game >> it was quite a dramatic scene you can see the players from both seems, referees and coaches rushing there to the side. neuvirth went down during the first period against the devils, he stayed on the ice for awhile before being taken to the hospital. he had to be evaluated. the team said neuvirth did not feel well before the game. he was filling in for steve mason, who was also sick an anthoniny stolarz was called out to help finish. the flyers plan to have him checked more tomorrow, they went on to win that game 3-0. friday's heavy rain may have played role in a house collapse in south philadelphia. that incident almost killed a man. house on yocun street crashed bound 2:30 yesterday morning, as dust settled neighbors heard a man's voice from the house in rubble. rescue crews pulled him out and took him to penn presbyterian hospital where he is in stable condition. residents say the man was a

squatter and slept in that vacant home before. top advisor to anti-trump could be in hot water. social media are director dan urged defeat of a michigan congressman who opposed the healthcare bill. that violated federal law that limits federal activity by government employees. the white house denies it was a violation. financial forms of president trump's staff shows they're worth 12 billion dollars. kushner and ivanka trump has an estimated $147 million. she retained the stake in the hotel in washington. even though she and her husband are unpaid white house staff members. critics say such ties pose a serious conflict of interest. the senate judiciary committee is to vote tomorrow on

neil gorsuch. democrats are threatening a philabuster. republicans could then change senate rules to allow a simple majority vote for gorsuch's confirmation. that change would allow all future supreme court nominees could be confirmed without regard to objections thousands of people in the area gained a precious gift to a lot of their neighbors in need. took part in the 22'nd annual gift of life donor dash on the ben franklin parkway near the philadelphia museum of art. the donor dash is part of national donate life month. which is an effort to spread the word that there is a critical need to organ and tissue donation. today, 17 of the brightist minds in delaware took part in the first ever fedex youth wilmington conference. speakerses were from five local schools, the academy mt. pleasant high school.

still blowing out of the northwest five to 15 miles per hour, makes the actual air temperatures feel little bit cooler, you still need something with sleeves at least you can keep the heavy winter coats home and enjoy day. go for a nice long stroll later this afternoon, satellite 6 along with action radar quiet up and down the eastern sea board. big rains across the deep south, going to zoom into the lone star state of texas into arkansas and oklahoma, switch it over to storm tracker 6. we set it in motion, look at this mess, the lightening strike, these are taken in 15-minute increment, you can see we're over 3,000 lightening strikes within a 15-minute time frame, this will be charging east and north over the next couple of, i would say next day and a half and moves into our neck of the woods by monday night. the good news is it's going to lose some punch. all the thunderstorms you saw down there will weaken into just a couple of showers and perhaps downpours no big storms, still

we picked up almost two inches of rain past friday. soil was saturated and this will be added on top. there could be flooding out of this and then another storm after this once we get into thursday and friday. so future tracker 6 we skip right over nothing going on tomorrow for the most part it's quiet we'll see an increase in clouds, monday night right around let's say 9:00 or 10:00 in the evening, that's when the rain begins, and some of it comes down at a pretty good clip. this is 3:00 a.m. tuesday, right after midnight monday night, look at the oranges and yellows that's heavy rain and driving rain, which will continue until the predawn hours. then all of a sudden, most of it starts to pull to the north. morning commute looks damp leftover puddles maybe patchy leftover drizzle. it's the afternoon we start to see the showers and this time thunderstorms flare up there will be a lot of instability out there and these will produce some drenching downpours as well tuesday is looking very unsettled. rainfall totals for monday through tuesday could range anywhere from a half inch to as much as an inch and a half

depending on whether or not you get underneath some heavier thunderstorms that develop tuesday afternoon. again we already had almost two inches of rain friday. that's a lot of rain in a short amount of time. certainly wouldn't surprise me if flood watches go into effect for tomorrow. that would be monday and tuesday. today, sunny skies tuesday, low 60's for highs, 62 in philadelphia, 57 in cape may, millville 62, allentown most of the lehigh valley right around 60. overnight tonight, clear skies and mild, lows in the upper 30's to low 40's, and the exclusive accu weather seven-day forecast shows lots of rain, heading this way, 62 degrees someone nice today increasing clouds on monday, 65, monday night into tuesday, we see the return of that wet weather, maybe thunderstorms tuesday afternoon, 72. wednesday we catch a break and then the next round moves in thursday and friday, 60 and 58. good news is, the latest computer updates show all of the rain out of here just in time for the phillies season opener,
