the area for 20 years. >> we are committed to do one thing and one thing only. do it right. if we can't do it right we are not going to do it. wednesday morning the announcement was official. hard rock will renovate the property and give the local economy a shot in the arm. 1,000 construction jobs and 3 thousand permanent jobs are expected and hard rock already hired 23 employees. many are excited about the project. >> it's the world, getting revived. we are getting a second chance at what everybody said would be a failure. and getting a second chance. thank god. >> hard rock purchased the hard rock in march from billionaire carl icahn. he closed the casino after a devastating strike by workers and the new owners and state leaders are looking toward the

convection of severe weather across the deep south and midwest. what the low pressure will do is form another low to the south and that brings us some heavy rain and some potentially strong to severe thunderstorms kind of two areas of that during the day tomorrow. so tonight the clouds continue to thicken. rain should be holding off until after midnight and overnight lows dropping down into the 40s. and future tracker the latest showing a round of pretty heave thunderstorms before the sunrises at 5:00 in the morning and a good line of gusty thunderstorms rolling through and the morning commute, it will be wet and generally scattered light showers and the system reloads as we head into the afternoon. future tracker showing 2:00 in the afternoon the threat of severe weather moving in from the west with gusty thunderstorms could spin up an isolated tornado and into the evening commute. it all winds down some left over

reported stabbing it happened in the area of 15th and 2nd avenue. at least one person suffered injuries in a serious crash involving several cars and a dart bus this afternoon. this was the scene at delaware avenue and dupont street. the driver lost control and slammed into three other cars and at least one of those people had to be cut out of their car. the area is now closed as the investigation continues. an accident on the roosevelt boulevard led to massive backups in philadelphia's hunting park section this morning. chopper 6 hd was over the scene near fox street and the crash happened at 9:30 this morning, and not sure how many cars were involved but one flipped on to its roof. one of our region's most

the tennessee and ohio valley the boxes pop up tornado watches and thunderstorm watch boxes from cincinnati to nashville and all of this comes in in the wee hours of the morning and this lights up before the morning rush hour at 5:00 a.m. you could get jolted out of bed with a thunderstorm or heavy downpour passing through early in the morning and during the rush hour it's wet in spots but we won't see the heaviest of the rain in the rush hour and the first round lift as way and we catch a break with showers and then everything refires here late morning into the afternoon at 2:00. you see the hit or miss downpours and thunderstorms that will mean business that means we could see severe weather, that lifts to the north in the evening rush hour. and could be sunny breaks and a scattered left over downpour or thunderstorm late in the day. overhaul when you add everything up 1 to 2 inches of rain area wide and a flood watch in effect with an isolated 3 inches or
