military strike on the airfield in syria from where the chemical attack was launched. it is in this vital, national security interest of the united states to prevent and deter the spread and use of deadly chemical weapons. >> this is video in within the last five minutes. president trump gave the order tonight with u.s. warships firing 59 tomahawk cruise missiles at a syrian air base the intended targets, runways, planes, fuel facilities. we are waiting for damage reports from the scene. the missiles came from two warships, the u.s.s. ross and u.s.s. porter in the eastern mediterranean aimed at the air
