abc's donya bacchus joins us live from san bernadino. >> reporter: rick and monica, this is an extremely active scene. we've seen law enforcement officers armed law enforcement officers still patrolling school grounds and in addition to those law enforcement officers we also have seen dozens of concerned parents looking for their children. >> possible active shooter at north park elementary. >> reporter: a school on lockdown. >> these guys are moving these students in the north. >> reporter: lines of elementary school students being rushed to safety and law enforcement officers surround, the building after police say multiple people were shot at north park elementary school in san bernadino california. >> three down. >> reporter: police believe the shooting which happened in a classroom is a murder-suicide. two adults were killed, two students injured. are you able to hear any news of her. >> i can see her from here. that's why i waited here until i can see her.

said searching for him was like looking for a needle in a haystack. state police major george above sense talked to the jury about jury -- bivins talked about how difficult it was to find him. a marshall put his boot on the back of eric frein's head to control him. frein is accused of ambushing two state police troopers killing one of them em faces a potential death sentence if convicted. some upgrades are coming to philadelphia international airport. the new project will focus on improving the terminal experience with new amenities and more shopping and dining options for travelers. deadly fight in a school is wrapping up in wilmington. a pediatric cardiologist served as the last witness in the amy joyner francis case today. that doctor testified that the 16-year-old suffered from a.m. rare undieketed... undetected heart condition. one of the girls has been charged with criminally negligent homicide and two others are charged with conspiracy. closing arguments are set to begin tomorrow. police are still looking for the person who shot two men in strawberry mention. a 27-year-old and 47-year-old were wounded in the 2500 block of marsden street at 9:30 last night. the 47-year-old man is hospitalized in critical condition. the other man's injuries are not as serious. police say they do not know the motive. >> in philadelphia, a homicide investigators hoping relee

released video can help solve the murder of a 65-year-old woman. police are calling these two men persons of interest in the shooting death of winifred harris in had your powelton village home. the nonprofit executive was killed on the 300 block of north holly street back on february 23rd. a $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction. trenton police say a suspected drunk driver caused a string of damage last night. the impact sent an axle flying into a trenton police car that happened to be in the area at the time. the officer was hospitalized for minor injuries and the driver is under arrest for allegedly driving while under the influence. you a proposed natural gas pipeline in new jersey is facing a new challenge tonight. the environmental group the sierra club is appealing the pinelands commissions approval of the pipeline saying it doesn't primarily benefit people living there. the pipeline will that carry

with ducis rodgers meteorologist cecily tynan and jim gardner. >> ♪♪ >> monday night. jim's off. i'm rick williams and the big story on "action news" is developing from san bernadino california. a deadly shooting inside of an elementary school there. >> this is an absolutely tragic event. our hearts are broken. >> officials are calling it a murder-suicide. they say a man shot and killed a teacher in her classroom and then killed himself. two children caught in the gunfire were critically wounded. >> the children we do not believe were targeted. we believe the two children were the unfortunate recipients of injuries by being in proximity to the female at the time of the incident. >> students were quickly evacuated from north park elementary following the shooting. they were bussed to other schools where they were reunited with their parents. once again the situation appeared to be a murder-suicide. two adults are dead, two children are being treated for
