good afternoon in the news bill cosby has lost his bid to question his accuser in court before his sexual assault trial. and the car slams into a local home sending a woman to the hospital. >> but the big story on "action news" at noon, a judge finding two girls responsible for their roles in the death of amy joyner francis. >> the 16-year-old died last year after a fight in the girls bathroom. and two of the three teenagers involved in the case were convicted. john rawlins is live now with more on the decision. >> reporter: hi rick, well one acquitted and two found delinquent and the lead finding the homicide charge. the judge made it clear that this was not a fight with mutual combatants and the aggressor should have known that her act of violence should have led to a

possible death. >> in an eight page decision they found that the 16-year-old defendant committed criminal homicide when she beat amy francis inside of a girls bathroom last year. she had a presifting heart condition and authorities said she died due to stress from the unprovoked attack. and her attorney says this is her first fight and comes from a goo home with a mother and father in their life. >> they teach family values and anyone that understands children knows that teens are pressured into engaging in activities contrary to what mother and father teach every day. >> the evidence was she kicked joyner francis and the third girl was not found to participate in the physical assault. a spokesperson for the victim's family shows that actions even actions by teenagers have

consequences. >> at the end of the day you cannot brutalize someone in the bathroom and lead to their death and there is no consequence for that action. >> getting into the facts i think in any scenario, the consequences of one's actions must be credited and kidded as much as adults should be think being that. >> that was sean lug the prosecutor in this case. everyone will be back here on may 23rd for sentencing. had this been in superior court and the 17-year-old was tried as an adult, she could have gotten eight years in prison but this has jurisdiction until they turn 19 and they can extend that to age 21. john rawlins, channel 6 "action news." >> all right thank you. in other news a violent collision sent a car flying into

a house in the east oak lane section of philadelphia. this is the damage from the early morning crash on cheltenham avenue. one driver says she lost control and hit a dodge charger and slammed into the home. an assisted living facility and one staff member was injured. >> i did have a staff person that was sitting in a chair right where the car came in and she got pushed in the chair. >> that woman was take tonight the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. katherine scott will have more from the scene coming up at 12:30. turning to accuweather now and slightly cooler temperatures after some pretty warm days, going live outside sky 6 hd showing you center city on a breezy but still pleasant afternoon. meteorologist, adam joseph, is tracking the latest conditions on the terrace. >> it's definitely chillier than it has been the last couple of days, but with bright sunshine

and a sweep of clouds pushing to the east it's a good afternoon building. looking at satellite you see the first round of cloud cover pushing through philadelphia and heading of the heart of south jersey, if you are under the clouds now it won't be that much longer before you break out into brighter skies and the clouds in pittsburgh will head this way and fall apart before they get here. 37 in philadelphia, and 56 in allentown and 57 in millville. even numbers across the region and the airport in atlantic city up to 60 currently. and a wind is blowing it could gust as high as 20 miles per hour and right now only 10 miles per hour in the city. a little breezy at times. 63 by 2:00 and 66 by 4:00 and it looks like we'll get to a high of 67 at 5:00 this afternoon. it will come in late as the wins shift from the northwest. and 65 by 60s and 66 by 10:00 we look at a cool down tonight.

price took another hit wednesday. president trump weighed inteling the wall street journal to randomly say are you getting off the plane is terrible. and now washington looking at intentional overbooking and bumping of passengers. and dr. da recovering from his injuries. >> we were horrified. and shocked and sickened. >> this afternoon the chicago city council will hold a council on this incidents and three officers now are placed on leave. reporting in new york. kenneth moton channel 6 "action news." bill cosby will not be allowed to question his accuser in court before his sexual assault case goes to trial. cosby and his lawyers wanted to force andrea constand to testify at a preliminary hearing and they lost the bid last year and they appealed it and the court denied the appeal.

the last of south florida's notorious cocaine cowboys is caught after 26 years on the run. falcon was arrested during a bike ride with his wife where they were living under different names.

he is hiding out since 2001 after smuggling tons of cocaine into the u.s. he was involved in a car accident and used a fake drivers license. his brother willy falcon and a third man are serving long prison sentences. >> disturbing video shows two bullets narrowly missing a child that was sitting at a barbershop. before you watch this you should know that the child is okay. she was playing inside of the shop in chandler, arizona after she sat down in a chair gun fire shattered the glass window behind her and she was take tonight the hospital for very minor injuries. police arrested two men that reportedly got into eye fight and fired the weapons on monday morning. two men in illinois are facing terrorist charges accused of conspiring on behalf of isis. they were both arrested yesterday.

according to court documents the pair provide aid undercover fbi team with several cell phones which they allegedly thought they would be used in isis attacks overseas. the men drove an fbi source to the airport thinking that person was headed to syria to fight for isis. both have yet to enter a plea. and in rome pope francis is celebrating holy thursday by visiting a prison and plans to wash the feet of a dozen prisoners. he must give all members of society hope. and he presided over the mass at st. peters basilica. and an 8-year-old boy from ohio wanted a cheeseburger so bad he took the keys to the van and drove it to mcdonald's. his sister was sitting in the passenger seat. they found the boy behind the wheel.

meteorologist, david murphy, is here now with a look at your afternoon. >> it's cooler than the last couple of days. people may not like it. stormtracker 6 live double scan we have no rain out there. taking a look outside. sky 6 hd nice and bright with the battleship new jersey along the camden waterfront from the penn's landing camera. and bright conditions and a sweep of clouds that came

through is now pushing off the coast and another one is on the way later on. and what you see is what you get for the next several hours. temperature is 63 degrees and still breezy and cool. and we'll add 9 or 10 degrees across the region through the end of the day. 56 in allentown and 56 in reading and 58 in wilmington and 57 in millville and down along the coast in places like cape may. we won't add as many degrees to the temperature. there is the first sweep of clouds coming on through and it stays that way for the next couple of hours and there are showers in pittsburgh and we expect those to fall apart before they get here. sun mixing with occasional clouds and still nice today. 64 degrees when we get into the 70s and most of us stay in the 50s today. and we go 58 on average and sun mixing with clouds and ocean

temperature cool and that ibt action with the cool air is part of the reason you are chillier down there. sun and clouds and pleasant with winds running 8 to 18 miles per hour. could even get a gust higher than that at times. for the evening commute, not bad, 75 degrees and you'll want your shades because we'll likely see sun by 4:00 and more fileters in during the evening and down to 70 and today's high by the way falling late in the afternoon at 5:00. so the warmest part of the day will still be around 4:00, 5:00 and 6:00 when you get foot car. partly cloudy and chilly and 46 degrees and winds die down a bit and some suburbs could get down into the upper 30s and it will we chillier tomorrow morning to start out. for the next couple of days today and tomorrow high pressure is in control and a breeze today and less so tomorrow and high temperatures in the upper 60s

with generally mostly to part any sunny skies and pleasant conditions, and then we get into saturday and a warm front creeps in our direction and that brings in more clouds and a similar high of 68 degrees and a stray shower here or there. and easter sunday we get on the other side of the front and we'll be in the 80s. your exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast today 67 and nice tomorrow good friday 67 and cool for the union game and we increase the clouds on saturday with a high of 68. sunday clouds and warm 85 in the afternoon. going to be scram being some of those easter eggs on the sidewalk well maybe not ta warm and late at night a chance of a stray shower or thunderstorm. but that is mainly north and west and mainly at night. >> omelettes for easter, sounds good. coming up on "action news" at 12:30, a hopping good time. speaking of easter, it's about to take over south street.
