we're going to zoom just a little bit into the house that's at the center of this investigation. and i want to tell everyone that when we first got here, spoke with a neighbor who saw a man put in cuffs and then put into the back of a police suv. now, let's bring u up some video here. this is going to be a closer look of when we first got here. you're going to see investigators outside focusing on the front of this house. but mind you, this fire sparked around 6:30 tonight. and that investigation still going on at 11 p.m. tonight. now, i want to bring up more video here. this is going from chopper 6. earlier today when this fire sparked around 6:30. when this crew arrived, there was someone trapped inside. they were pulled out and rushed to the local hospital. but at this point, no word on their condition. and back out live here, quiet this evening. but, again, investigators still out here. and again any time there is a lengthy investigation, becomes concerning, especially for

neighbors and especially for those who said, again, in their opinion it looked suspicious. they saw a man put in handcuffs and taken away in a police cruiser. a lot of details. reporting live in lands dale, bob brooks. thank you, bob. confusion turned to chaos and then all-out pandemonium in a stampede at new york city's penn station tonight. >> go! >> it started with cops screaming and then people heard what they thought was a gunshot. that sent hundreds of people scrambling, as you can see, scattering in all directions. even above to the streets of the city. but there actually never was a shooting. an amtrak police officer useed a taser on agerent passenger refusing to obey commands. >> given our dealing with

similar situations, we reviewed the 911 calls and determined there were no actual shots fired. >> witnessed reported feeling terrified as the wave of people ran towards them. they didn't know why, had to go along with the crowd. authorities say 16 people were hurt. fortunately none seriously. police identified the two women killed in the crash on roosevelt boulevard in feltonville. 40-year-old marshe flowers and holland were riding in an suv when it slammed into a a parked car. the driver survived and is recovering in the hospital. police say he was trying to pass slow traffic on the right and didn't see the tractor-trailer parked in the right lane. that is legal at that hour. that according to police. the truck driver was stopped to get some sleep as required by law. a car slammed into a a tree tonight in edgemont township,

delaware county. sending three to the hospital. their conditions are not released that the hour. pennsylvania police responded to the scene at 7:00. they are trying to figure out why the vehicle veered off the road. chopper 6 was over a barn fire this afternoon in east whiteland township, chester county. flames decimated the structure. this is the 2100 block of valleyy hill road. action news was told that no people or animals were hurt. some philadelphia police officers took on the role of urban cowboy today to try and corral a runaway horse. but with no lassos, had to result to a hand full of carrots. the horse, big mama, escaped the fletcher urban riding club in strawberry mansion. somebody forgot to lock the stable door. >> i enjoyed it.

i told my boss, there's a horse running outside. he said, no. look out the window. >> big mama was able to run free for several miles before officers caught up with her. from now on her owners will make sure her stable door is locked, double checking. police in newtown township are using surveillance video of tracking down vandals who have the habit of hurling benches. jeff is live tonight. are police getting any close closer to finding these guys? >> reporter: we think so so, jim. the guys the police are looking for are likely in their 20s. grew up with a phone and camera in every pocket. last night they forgot there's a camera on every corner. police released video showing the men heading up -- walking up the street.

they pick up the bench and throw it to a railing. which then bounces back behind him. now, the owners of lastalla italian market say they snapped a tree, dented a compressor and damaged another bench. what makes folks really upset is this business just opened several weeks ago. >> when i saw the video, i was appalled. because the effort, the money, and -- yeah. everything they put into this new store for these individuals to come down and grab a bench off the street and throw it. it's just -- it's just crazy. >> reporter: now, newtown township police are asking the public's help in identifying these guys. but we're hearing it may not be that difficult. not only are the cameras giving them a good idea who they are looking for, one of those men also paid for drinks at a nearby bar with his credit card.

researchers found a small percent of people keep taking opioid painkillers long after surgery. 6% of patients continued to use pain meds three to six months later. that is potentially dangerous, obviously, as it is possible to get hooked on the drugs, sometimes leading to harder opiates, like heroin. researchers found the risk factor for the extended use are back pain, arthritis, psychiatric disorders and a history of substance abuse. tomorrow is april 15th, normally tax day. but a quirk of the calendar will buy procrastinators several extra days to file. they can thank president abraham lincoln. since it's on saturday, the deadline, you would think, would be pushed to monday. but monday is a holiday in washington, d.c., emancipation day, which commemorates lincoln's proclamation to end
