woman was shot and killed in the kensington section. police say this handgun was used to kill that woman. we are told the shooter got away. the crime happened in the 700 block of east till ton street. the woman was shot in the chest around 1:00 a.m. she was taken to temple university hospital, but could not be saved. police are working to track down the shooter, they are looking for clues and a motive. new information to tell you about this morning, three people trying to escape a burning home in gloucester township, camden county. fire started after midnight damaging the home on lincoln avenue. the fire began in the basement. flames spread to the other part of the home before the firefighters put out the fire. red cross is helping those displaced. the cause is under investigation. a rowan university police officer is injured, but talking after being hit by a car. the officer had pulled over a car in the 300 block of mullica

hill road in glassboro. that's on the border of rowan campus. as he was dealing with that driver, a second vehicle struck the officer. the officer's injuries are serious, but not life threatening. no word whether charges will be filed. a grandmother and grandchild were hit by a dirt bike in upper darby. it happened during a police chase and the violence did not stop there. annie mccormick explains. >> reporter: both victims went to the hospital, the grandmother to penn presbyterian the young child to chop. upper darby police have a person of interest in custody. however no charges were announced. >> they hit them, they went flying in the air. >> reporter: this was the dirt bike that plowed through a packed 59th street in upper darby. the police and witnesses say the

april is carrying for her baby boy, you might have seen it on abc yesterday. 45 minutes after the little guy was born at a new york zoo. he stood, albeit, a little wobbliy. the birth was witnessed via live stream. a person is reunited with her family 44 years after she last saw them. nora muchanic was in elmer for the emotional encounter. >> reporter: this was the scene in elmer salem county as a long lost sister was welcomed home by her siblings, the last time they saw was 44 years ago. she ran away from home when she was 16 years old nobody ever heard from her again, but her brothers and sisters didn't forget her. >> i wonder if she is a live

and if she is okay watch over her. >> reporter: she was tracked down in poured atlanta oregon, 7 years when her mother was dieing. when she heard her terminally ill brother asked to see her, she made the arrangements and now she is reunited with her family. >> it's amazing to see them again after all these years. i have to go see my baby brother. >> my heart is racing so fast. it's a beautiful thing, i appreciate everybody here today. >> she was scared to fly, and scared to meet everybody after so many years. >> reporter: nobody can make up for the lost time, now that she has been reconnected with her family, they can make the most out of the years ahead. >> now that we found her and where she is now, window we'll stay in contact for life.
