blade in his hand. find out the message they were trying to hit home. and she's asking strangers for a favor. >> just wash my baby's hair, just a few seconds. >> why this act of kindness turns into a big surprise. >> in estonia, this passerby is doing a great thing. see this older woman, she's got two crutches on her arm. this guy is like, you know what, i'm going to help this baby over. it is taking her quite a bit of time to get through the crosswalk. watch what happens right here. >> oh, my gosh. making it worse. everybody jumping, jumping. >> did i tell you that the guy was the driver, and he put on his hazard lights. >> oh, no. >> but he didn't set the parking brakes. >> he didn't even put it in park. this thing is still in drive. >> he's about to run himself and her over. >> luckily some more passersby come along.

they come to help the woman. you see her fall on her back, her head hits the pavement. the guy is holding the car trying to keep it from running them both over. the guy with the dash-cam comes out to help. >> does he put it in park. >> he puts it in park and nobody moves. somebody quickly called the ambulance and he said she only had a few grazes. >> whoa. >> hello somebody. >> i hope they have a prescription for this. >> the pharmacy owner, he said we get a lot of sick patients that walk in here. this is the first time a wheel came if the door. >> i am so tired of this. >> really, really tired. >> but luckily nobody was hurt. those two businessmen sitting in the chair was like, you know what, god was protecting us because they weren't seriously hurt. >> in russia they rushed to this dog's rescue. you see there pacing back and

forth on this sheet of floating ice. they spot it in the distance. as they slow up, you hear them trying to get the dog's attention. come on. you see one of the hunters lean out of the boat trying to urge it to the edge there. you see the other hunter put his hand out. there you go, puppy. >> that's right. into the boat it goes. >> you're coming with us. we may not have scored hunting but we did catch a dog. >> this next video starts mid rescue. there you see this fellow holding onto a rope with the dog there in its lap. apparently this guy was passing by when he saw a group of people gathered around because that dog was out there in the middle of the water. took off all his clothes, jumped into action. >> get there, get there, get there, get there. >> you see it's a group effort. they pull him up the wall, get the dog over the railing first.

you hear somebody in the background that sounds really, really relieved. the dog kind of hobbles along. >> he's tired and freezing now. >> scared. that guy, that water must have been cold, too. you saw how people are dressed. >> they hand him his clothes back. >> look at all the people paying attention to the dog and like one person is checking on the guy. you okay? >> thanks. i'm fine. >> someone got him a tee towel. >> finally somebody got him something. dirt bag alert. over in china, start with five dirt bags that walked into this shop and started swinging huge pipes at the guy behind the counter. he gets knocked in the head several times despite having a blade in his hand which he tried to use to defend himself. >> they were trying to send a

message. >> these were loan sharks coming to collect the money he owed from gambling online, which is illegal in china. the shop keeper afraid to go to police. the money owed is about $5 00 u.s. dollars. however, the shop keeper racked up as much as $115,000. this was some he owed back, didn't have the money. that's when these guys came swinging. the guy here behind the counter finally got police involved. i'm not so sure that's going to help, because police are looking at charging him for illegal gambli gambling. now, to our friends in the philadelphia area, keep your eyes peeled for these dirt bags. i would love for our show to help get these three clowns off the street. the guy in the black with the black cap on, the guy in the red and our buddy in the back walking around with a cast on his hand. just walking down the street in broad daylight peering into windows just looking for an

opportunity when one sadly presents itself. this 25-year-old man comes out of a restaurant, just finished his meal and just walks right into these guys when, pow, sucker punch. the guys in the back just lays a beat down. >> my goodness, are they robbing him or trying to kill him. >> they are robbing him. they take his phones, go through his pockets and beat him unconscious. >> they were kicking him in the head. >> unconscious and robbing and stits puts in another roundhouse. come on, philadelphia, find these guys. >> help the philadelphia police out. is your daddy coming? >> something special is about to happen, and it's kind of rad because it's almost like the dog knows someone special is coming home. the dog jumps up on the couch, starts looking out the window like, wait, what's going on. after waiting for a long time, his buddy walks right through

take a stand up paddleboard, throw some red bull behind him and send hill out to hawaii and you've got the beginnings of something epic. but not in the way you may expect coming from red bull. this is kye lenny. he's one of the best out there riding a stand up hydrofoil. he's there with a bunch of his friends. they are not just out there to enjoy the watersports. they are out there to clean up some beaches and raise awareness to the global problem of plastic trash. >> they say there's going to be more plastic trash in the sea than fish. if that doesn't scare you, nothing does. >> this beach has never been cleaned before. nets, bottles, combs, tooth brushes. you couldn't see the lava. >> kye is going to use paddle skills, surfboard to travel to each hawaiian island and clean up a beach at each place to

raise awareness and just drum up some support. >> you think this is paradise. you got down close to the ground and you see all the trash that's coming up onshore. this is an epidemic of trash. >> i'm glad they are doing this. they are painting the reality that is, you know, being out there on the beaches. we have that responsibility to try to take care of it as much as we can. >> exactly what they say in the video. you want to get involved, use a water bottle instead of buying a water bottle. stop using one plastic item. also, if you can't go out there and clean a beach, they have got some t-shirts for sale to show some of your support. buy a t-shirt, get behind the cause. if you're watching down the beach and you see some trash, pick it up. >> katrina, para, you're going to discover this girl is a fighter. she's now 24 years old. back in 2012 she got very sick. she was vomiting, had a lot of abdominal pain.

doctors discovered she had acute, intermittent paralysis. she said she had to drop out of college for two years and learn how to use her limbs again. >> is it a virus? bacteria? what happens? >> it's a metabolic disorder. they were able to treat it but her comeback took quite a while. as you can see here, she's almost like a child. this is five years ago. she says it interrupted her life and of that her family, and she had to learn how to use her limbs again. here you can see she's walking a little better. >> amazingly better. >> she said when this happened, she was not really taking good care of herself. she wasn't eating enough protein or carbs. she would go out dancing, drink a lot of alcohol. she said this illness had changed her. look, she used to dance a lot. this is her learning to move. look at her now. >> that is incredible.

there's something pretty awesome about trying something new just to see how you'll do. got group of women to try roller derby for 30 days. >> i feel overwhelmed. >> sports are not my thing. i'm not athletic. >> we're going to a sport where we don't know what's going on, we're not very skilled at it. >> that makes sense. you're not going to be good on day one. that's cool they let them try it for a month. >> there are roller derby teams that exist. generally they are volunteer. they do it for fun but also the challenge. >> it is a challenge. these girls are tough. >> is it legit or roller-skating world wrestling. >> those girls are out there throwing some blows. >> i didn't know what i'm getting into. i'm walking in and hear screaming and yelling. >> we were thrown sboit.

>> from day one like an emotional roller coaster. >> from day one they will attend sessions once a week. they need to learn how to roll around on these things. how to skate on this incline. >> interesting camera of the track, going to be a different experience. even if you have been roller-skating before. >> the second day we came and did jumps. >> i learned about falling and getting back up. >> they are warming up and only halfway through. the girls are talking about how this is changing their own perspective on life. >> one of the biggest things in derby is just empowering each other. >> this required me to fall and get back up. >> in the end you see how emotional the girls are. in fact, one of them is in tears as she's talking about this. i think overall it was a really great experience. >> fortunately i think there's something about it all of us loved. i take my life one week at a time but i'm going to roller derby again on sunday.
