the 5400 block of diamond street when they got to the scene they were met with flames pouring out of the home. they went to work quickly to put out the fire, but it was too late for the people who lived inside the house. >> the firefighters did a tremendous interior check for 39 minutes for the property behind us. unfortunately the wynnfield section of philadelphia suffered three fatalities today. >> we have learned one person was rescued an taken to the hospital in stable condition. there was no damage to neighboring homes. the community is shaken by this. the victim beloved pillars of the neighborhood. red cross has dispatched volunteers to help the community. >> police are looking for whoever opened fire on a large

crowd hitting nine people. 30 people were standing on the corner of 34th and hught -- huntington street when someone opened fire. the group was singing and dancing at the time. >> we arrived on location and found several victims most of the victims were transported to area hospitals. >> two of the victims are critically injured, the others in stable condition. 9:03 a.m., this morning a father is speaking about his son who is missing after a late-night swim in the delaware river with friends on friday. >> "action news" reporter, annie mccormick has more on the search effort and talked with those who are holding out hope that the teen would be found alive. >> reporter: friends of antone fox clung to each other after he want for a swim in the river friday night. >> he was trying to save somebody else.

>> reporter: welcome back everyone, we have cooler temperatures in place across the mid atlantic thanks to a nice easterly flow. temperatures off the coast of the atlantic city are stuck in the mid 50s, as long as we see an easterly breeze we'll see chilly temperatures. note the warmup south and west, 70 degrees in charleston. 67 in pittsburgh. that milder air will try to make a run toward the dare and the lehigh valleys it will not arrive -- toward the delaware and the lehigh valleys. it will not make it here until tuesday or wednesday. we're clear across the garden state of new jersey. the western portions of the area is picking up clouds now. starting out with sunshine temperatures climbing through the 60s up to 70 degrees by 3:00 p.m. that's when we start increasing

the air as firefighters battled a fire that killed three people in the city's wynnfield section this morning. >> we're hearing from neighbors following the shooting of a toddler and his father in kensington. police have revealed details of the suspects on the run. >> wall-to-wall sunshine across the delaware valley, but you may need a sweater before heading out though. >> meteorologist chris sowers joins us outside with all the details. hi, chris. >> reporter: good morning to you, guys, yeah it's a lot cooler this morning, i can't get over how dramatically things have changed over the last 24 to 36 hours. usually coming out of the heat wave a cooler day may mean 79, 78 degrees, not 66 like yesterday. wednesday we had a high of 91. thursday, 93. friday, 93. that made it the first heat wave of the year.

yesterday's afternoon high, 66 degrees in philadelphia. we reached that mark for 12 minutes and the temperatures started pulling back further. jersey shore upper 50s. low 60s. this morning we had some locations ten to 11 degrees above the freezing mark of 32. amazing how quickly the temperatures changed. pottstown, 57. quakertown, 57. warminster you're in the 50s, as well. 59 there. center city, 61. long wood, 61. glassboro, 61. cinnaminson, 59. vineland, 59. hammonton, 62. dover and smyrna, 60 and 62 degrees. looking over high shoulder i can see the high, thin clouds increasing from the west. that's pretty much the deal over the next few hours, we'll see sunshine with high, thin clouds increasing at first and the clouds lower and thicken later theerch. this evening.

detecters inside the home. they also add there was no damage to the neighboring homes. search efforts are underway for a teenager who went swimming with friends in the delaware river and never resurfaced. this is 16-year-old antwan fox who jumped in the river friday night. the current was too strong and they separated. a 4 person jumped into help. a bystander called 911, there was no sign of fox. >> police have the description of the two gunman they are looking for in the shooting of a 2-year-old boy and his father. police say the s&p -- one is 6'3" with braids. the other 5'11" with light

colored shirt riding a bike. police are looking for the men who opened fire while the dad and his toddler were sitting on the front porch friday night. the child was shot four times. he was taken to st. christopher's hospital listed in critical condition. the father's injuries were less severe. a witness explained what happened. >> he said this is my block and then the next thing you know he unloaded the gun. >> police are asking anyone with information to come forward. >> north korea has fired a ballistic missile today one week after the successful test of another missile. this is file video of a previous missile launch by north korea, today's rocket traveled 310 miles and landed in waters off the country's east coast. last week north korea tested a nuclear missile that could carry a nuclear warhead.

water vapor shot shows waters out of the gulf of mexico. up he were level pulls north, the warm front drifts to the east it will tap or siphon all the moisture northward that will hit us overnight tonight and into tomorrow. the surface maps looks like everything is out to the southwest today. you don't have to worry about any precipitation this afternoon. it's tomorrow when some of this pushes through here, periods of rain throughout the day. some of the heaviest will be during the morning hours before tapering off after 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon. future tracker 6 increasing high, thin clouds, the clouds lower and thicken overnight tonight. periods of rain throughout the day. even though the model doesn't show much. most of the models do, we're expecting periods of rain heaviest in the morning hours, leftover showers after 3:00 p.m., that continues in the evening hours before everything clears out monday night which september up a nice day on tuesday. rainfall looks like, yesterday
