floor bedroom. she was five months pregnant and pronounced at the scene. the fire marshal is calling the death suspicious, and has not released details. three people are dead in the wynnfield section following an overnight house fire. the community in shock of course, in shock. bob brooks is live in wynfield with what we're learning about the victims. >> reporter: gray, talking to neighbors all the victims who were killed in the fire they were all family, the couple who lived here was well-known in the community they were active and well loved. behind me is the home that burned. you can see the windows they were busted out. that's where the flames were shooting out this morning. >> during the last few hours we watched as heartbroken family and friends consoled each other and went inside to salvage anything they can.

the house caught fire on diamond street in wynnfield. >> annie is a beautiful pillar of this community. i was going through my own stuff she prayed and encouraged me every time i saw her. >> reporter: according to neighbors, the victims are all family a couple who lived here a long time and their adult son. the couple worked on most of their lives to keep the neighborhood safe and help others. >> we used to go out on drug marches. >> reporter: they ran the diamond club which is the place where people gather. >> a 4th person was able to jump out of the home and broke his leg. he is in the hospital with serious injuries. that was the couple's second son. >> our prayers go out to him. the red cross is here because he won't be able to stay there. >> we heard about the people who tried to save her home.

chaotic scene where nine people were shot in the strawberry mansion section of philadelphia. we know late last night two men fired into a crowd at 23rd and huntington street. nine of an estimated 30 were shot at the location there. police say some of the victims were outside listening to music and live streaming on facebook when the shooting started. some were treated by medics, others were taken to the hospital in police cruiser and others in private cars. at one point so many victims were showing up to one hospital police had to dwoart -- divert officers to other ones. >> be advised we have 6. >> walking into the e-r. >> reporter: two were critically injured, it the others in stable

condition. developing right now president donald trump has made a strong plea to 50 muslim and arab leaders only by uniting will they drive terrorists from their soil. the president's speech emphasized that the effort to end terrorism is not a war on islam. >> this is not a battle between different faiths or different sects or different civilizations, this is a battle between barbaric criminals who seek to obliterate human life and decent people all in the name of religion. >> and the president said killing innocent people in the name of religion is an insult to religious faith. he called on the leaders to seek a better future for their people by crushing terrorism in their lands. the trump administration said it is aware that the north korea fired a medium range

an overnight fire has neighbors heartbroken in the wynnfield section of philadelphia. three people died they were all members of the same family. "action news" reporter, bob brooks is in wynnfield with community reaction, bob. >> reporter: gray, just a tragic story again hearing from neighbors, these victims all family they were just excellent, excellent people in the neighborhood and community. behind me here, their home on diamond street where this happened, the fire sparked before 5:00 a.m. this morning. i want to bring up video we shot a few hours ago, it's been so sad seeing family and friends coming here and crying and beginning the difficult mourning process. neighbors say it was family inside, a couple who lived there many, many years and their adult children. one of the sons inside was able to jump out and broke his leg. he is in the local hospital. the couple and sun stick inside were killed.

gunman philadelphia police are looking for in the shooting of a 2-year-old boy and his father. police released the descriptions of the s&p, one -- suspects, one 6'3" with braids and wearing a black shirt and the other 5'11" riding a bike. the men opened fire while the dad and his father were sitting on the front porch the child was short four times and taken to st. christopher's hospital in critical condition. the father answer injuries were less severe, a witness explained what happened. >> next you know he said this is my block and then the next thing you know he unloaded the gun. >> police are asking anyone with information to come forward. today there is still no sign of a teenager who disappeared while swimming with friends in the delaware river. this is 16-year-old antoine fox.

he jumped in the river at the linden boat ramp in torresdale. the current was too strong, a friend jumped in to help, a bystander called 911. pennsylvania state police shot a man in north hampton county who they say was threatening to blow himself up. police were called to the home in mount bethel township yesterday. the man was suicidal and had an explosive device around his neck. they fired their weapons when the man refused their commands and tried to light the device, the device turned out to be a fireworks mortar. a 2-year-old child recovering from falling from a window in strawberry mansion section. investigators don't know why or how that little boy fell from

on the joker ride in arlington, texas. to make matters worse, the ride stopped around midnight there was a lightning storm. park was set to be open until 5:00 a.m. for the high school students an automatic safety measure was triggered by high winds and cut power to the ride. took crews three hours to get everyone to the ground. good news, nobody was hurt. alabama man is in critical condition after trying to save his father who is electrocuted in his backyard swimming pool, an electrical shock pulsating through the son caused severe damage. the father did not survive. >> the older male was inside the swimming pool, his son jumped into assist him and became unresponsive. >> 14 people in the u.s. died from electrical shock in the past 11 years, the death were caused by wires in the pool electrical system that shorted

three people are dead another injured following a house fire in the wynnfield section of philadelphia. investigators have not found any smoke detecters in the home. so far there's no word about a cause. 19 people were treated for gunshot injuries after someone opened fire on a street corner in the strawberry mansion section of philadelphia. the victims were singing and dancing live on facebook when someone fired the shot. two victims are in critical condition. so far no arrests have been made. the fire marshal is calling a north philadelphia fire that killed a pregnant woman suspicious. firefighters found the body of the 35-year-old victim inside the burnt out home on west susquehanna avenue. she was five months pregnant. no word on the possible
