bridesburg, bob brooks down the shore and we have david murphy with the accuweather forecast. >> reporter: i had a tweet from a viewer a moment ago that said it's a good day on the beach for ducks. we have active rain falling we have additional showers popping through montgomery and south jersey, the shore itself even other places where you don't see active rain there could fine drizzle down the the shore in particular into the afternoon. occasionally it will be damp you might feel that on your face as you go outside in the region, as well. active showers falling a part a lot less than earlier. there you see what we were dealing with when we first woke up or after when you woke up, but when i was out there, this is what we're dealing with. we have showers pulling north and east. cloudy breaks in the afternoon possible and damp with the

memorial service at the korean war memorial. patrick murphy said it was the korean war vets that paved the way for a few generation of soldiers. that's why it was important for him to be here. philadelphia honor guard and police patrol took part. jeanette reyes joins us from the bridesburg section, the site of the largest memorial day parade in the area. >> reporter: it's a dreary monday afternoon, but that's no match for those in bridesburg who came out to pay tribute to those who paid the ultimate act act -- sacrifice. >> reporter: the overcast skies reflected the feeling of those

>> meteorologist david murphy is here with a closer look of the holiday forecast and the rest of the week, what do you think? >> reporter: today cloudy, you were asking before the show if we'll see any sun, we might see some before we're done. storm tracker 6 live showing we're mainly dry, the new jersey side of the picture there's sprinkles and showers falling a part at this point. you may see a little drizzle in south jersey, in southeastern pennsylvania we're drying out a little bit better. as we look outside we're looking at sky6 live hd. this is a big improvement from a few hours ago on the morning broadcast we showed you the same picture, the clouds were so slow you couldn't see the tops of the skyscrapers. the clouds are lifting and the higher they get the better chance you have of avoiding the drizzle.

61 degrees, winds are light at 6 miles per hour. that's similar to the numbers across the region. on or about 60 in allentown, trenton, philadelphia, wilmington, millville and some spots south and west it's warmer. we're expecting a push of warm air as we go through the rest of the afternoon. it's going to take a while before we get into philadelphia. future tracker 6 shows you basically cloudy not a lot of rain out there, as we go into the afternoon there could clouds and breaks in the clouds and the sun comes back. later tonight it will cloud up again a bit, by tomorrow morning we could get fog around the region. in the lehigh valley for today we'll call it mostly cloudy sunshine a little bit later on. you might see some peeks quickly in the lehigh valley. 65 is the high there. a spotty shower, yeah, maybe. doesn't look like that's much of an impact. at the shore mostly cloudy we're looking at afternoon drizzle at

times. 64 is the high in the city. the farther south we go you have a chance of the late high of 70 degrees. not a beach day. up in the poconos, cloudy, a spotty shower can't be ruled out. the biggest issue is clouds and sunshine breaking through up north. in philadelphia, we'll be optimistic we'll go for a high of 70. if we hit that it it wasn't be until late in the -- won't be until late in the day. we'll be in the low 60s until we get sunshine. winds will continue to bring moisture off the ocean and that will keep the clouds kind of thick for a while. overnight we cloud up as shown by future tracker 6. 58 is the overnight low. there might be showers and sprinkles in the morning. the bigger is later in the even as we get a shower or
