completely is not. >> bryce harper, great hair. a lot of violence talking about on this tuesday morning. we're going to start with the chaos on the floor of the texas state capitol. lawmakers pushing each other around trading insults and in one case a death threat. >> it started when hundreds converged on the gallery. >> the protesters were mostly peaceful but lawmakers started yelling and shoving each other and some had to be pulled apart. kenneth moton has the details. >> reporter: good morning. it was a texas clash that's already being pointed to as an example of the heated debate over president trump's immigration policies. texas house scuffle. lawmakers of the state capitol monday in a heated face-to-face hurling death threat. >> there was a threat made from representative rinaldi to put a bullet in one of my colleague's heads. >> reporter: democrats in a shoving match with republicans.

just a few years ago abc news profiled that same ice cream shop. police in manchester, england are asking for the public's help regarding surveillance footage. the image shows the bomber salman abedi a few days before the attack with this hard shell blue suitcase. now police don't believe that case was used in the attack or presents any danger now but they're hoping someone can tell them more about why he was carrying it before he killed 22 people at that ariana grande concert. the train station adjacent to the manchester arena is re-opening for the first time since the attack. president trump is making it clear that he is standing by his son-in-law who is facing, of course, growing scrutiny over his contacts with russia. >> the president insists that jared kushner is a good person doing a great job. abc's mary bruce has the latest. >> reporter: president trump marking this memorial day with a solemn ceremony. greeting families of the fallen. >> you take care of yourself. >> thank you so much. >> reporter: his first public event since arriving back home

say at no time did the animal escape from its enclosure. police do not suspect foul play. a group of ponies triggered a chaotic scene at a memorial day parade outside milwaukee. the show ponies were pulling a wagon when they rushed into a crowded sidewalk injuring at least three people including a 9-year-old boy. >> it was kind of crazy when it all happened. the handlers were trying to get ahold of the horses and the horses were spooked. >> luckily none of the injuries were serious. police say the ponies may have been startled by children tossing tennis balls or by fireworks. zillo is offering a $1 million prize for helping to improve one of its most pop star features. it has been under fire over its ze zestimate tool. it's offering what it calls the zillo prize to whoever can most improve the zestimate tool.

weather in new orleans. and new this morning tiger woods is apologizing to both his fans and many others as he explains his arrest on a dui charge. >> he says it was caused by a mix of prescription drugs but the arrest added mortarish to what has already been a tough spot for him in his golfing career and personal life. abc's gio benitez has more. >> reporter: tiger woods speaking out after being arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence early monday morning. the 41-year-old saying alcohol was not involved. quote, what happened was an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications. i didn't realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly. the golfer also apologizing to his family and fans saying, i expect more from myself too. that mug shot now seen around the world. >> there it is, a win for the ages. >> reporter: a stark contrast to woods' iconic career but in recent years the golfer plagued with health issues undergoing four back surgery, the most recent just this april. >> tiger, the golfer, has been

basically missing over the last couple of years. he's played three tournaments worldwide in two years. >> reporter: gio benitez, abc news, jupiter, florida. last night woods' longtime agent would not say whether the mix of medications that were cited were related to his back problems and we'll have a lot more on this episode coming up on "good morning america." a manhunt is under way for suspects who fled the scene of a collision. that crash sent a police squad car 30 feet into a creekbed. more than a dozen good samaritans, though, rushed to the officer's rescue. he was eventually taken to the hospital with critical injuries. he is reportedly in stable condition this morning. spo given yet but he recently had been treated for pneumonia. the baltimore native won numerous awards with "sports illustrated" and npr.

artist took a special interest in all of those abandoned couches and turned them into that trash into treasure. here's kabc's matey gomez. >> reporter: meet andrew ward an assistant hollywood movie director whose creativity goes way beyond the movie set and says five years ago while driving to work an old abandoned sofa left on a sofa caught his eye. shortly after he started noticing others so one day he pulled over and began snapping pictures. >> you know, people have seen the movie "the sixth sense" where this young kid sees dead people. for me i saw sofas everywhere. i couldn't get away from it. it became this obsession. >> reporter: so far has taken over 1500 pictures of so fares fath sofas from l.a. and each has a unique personality and its own story. >> you see sometimes that a pet had lived in the home where it came from because it will be covered in hair or rip in the sofa. in their new environment it almost looks like they belonged there as opposed to someone's
