show problems. >> they treated him as a migraine sufferer, and she was about to take her son to the doctor for what seemed like a stomach virus and things got worse. >> evan stopped talking and walking and just wailing. >> doctors determine that evan had had a stroke. that blood vessels in the brain were blocked by bits breaking off from a tiny tumor in their heart. >> i never would have thought that children had a stroke. after open heart surgery to remove the tumor evan was on the road to recovery. >> i had to learn how to walk again, and balance. and talk -- >> there were hiccups however, including mini strokes probably caused by microscopic blood clots, blood thirns keep the risks under control now but limit some activities.
