on the block of orleans enjoying memorial day barbecue, they were walk to the 16-year-old's house to play video games everyone the shooter emerged between two parked cars, a tall thin male wearing a black hoody, firing several shots striking and killing the 14-year-old and injuring the 16-year-old. >> they saw the 14-year-old boy bleeding to death in the street just steps from their home. >> i cried last night with my kids. it could have been someone else's child or my child. >> he lives behind a younger sister and brother. with so many on the street someone must be able to provide information about the shooter. >> you have a 14-year-old who lost his life instead of graduating from only grade and enjoying his summer he is no longer with us. >> tamir is a good kid and did not deserve this.

trouble reaching a verdict. creato stands accused of murdering his 3-year-old son. john rawlins is live outside of the camden county courthouse. what are the deal tails? >> reporter: the news came at 4:00, the judge pointed out that jurors in this case took a significant amount of their time not deliberating but rather in open court replaying evidence, given that he is hoping they will come back tomorrow and engage in trying to find consensus. >> it's your juries to consult with one another to reach an agreement. can you do so without violence and individual judgment. each of you must decide the case tore yourself. >> following that formal charge, the judge said. >> i contact that you return tomorrow to make an effort to reach a verdict if you can. >> they began deliberating the case a week ago but due to a

scheduling issue and memorial day they deliberated a little over three days. it's not clear what is dividing the jury. they asked three times in the last three days to replay this video of the video of the defendant creato reacts to being told that his 3-year-old son brendon was found dead in cooper park. >> he answers questions in an hour and once they leave the room they record the defendant sobbing and it's ruled a homicide and not clear what caused it. there is no evidence tying the father to the death and the prosecution says creato killed the boy to maintain a relationship with a then girlfriend who the prosecution said didn't like children. >> the jury is expected to be back here 9:00 at the courthouse. and their admission is to see if they can consider the evidence and come to a verdict. live in camden county, john

volt batteries. he is moving slowly as he carries the batteries to his get away vehicle. it's thefts of large batteries in the city of chester and surrounding townships in delaware county. the 291 corridor. police here in chester estimate he may have stolen at least $10,000 worth of batteries in recent weeks. the profit margin for each battery is not that high when taken no junk yards so he has to do a lot of stealing to make it worth it. >> $4 or $5, so he has to steal a lot of. >> why so little. a small dollar amount but he has stolen so many that the dollar amount is high for him. making it worth it for him to steal so many batteries. >> in the last week police say

we are stuck in the may gloom. seven of the past ten days we are shrouded in clouds and five of the past ten days afternoon highs are only in the 60s. normal high for this time of year is 78 degrees, the past ten days we have more than 3 inches of rain and normal rainfall is 3.7 inches and a wet month. atlantic city 7.5 inches of rain that is the second wettest may in history. and philadelphia ranking the 11th wettest 6.33 and last may was even wetter than this may. wilmington close to 6 inches of rain this month. and trenton more than 5 inches and allentown 4 inches of rain. we need drying out and right now it's damp. the easterly flow off the ocean. ocean temperature is 60. and philadelphia 62 and allentown reading 61 and wilmington and millville 62 and cape may 61.
