is dead after shooting himself before 3:30 this afternoon at a home in chester township. action news report bob brooks is live at the scene with the details. bob? >> reporter: walter, such a tragedy, our thoughts's prayers go out to this little boy's family and friends. behind me here, the home where it happened, it's on the corner of green and beth, we just spoke with a chester township councilman who spoke with police. he's been told that the gun that the toddler found was just laying under a bed. let's take a look and listen. >> facts of evidence just been friday the home, family said it's where a young boy have passed away. just a few hours ago, his body removed by the medical examiner's office. at tragic scene. according to family, the one that could have been avoided. we're told by the boy's great uncle he somehow found a gun in the home. the young boy would accidently fatal the wound himself. >> you can't confirm that a 2-year-old found a gun in the home and fatal the wounded himself

miles per hour. there are also unconfirmed reports that several people have been stabbed. this is a developing story. as soon as we get more information, we will pass it along to you. police in delaware county are investigating an accident that ended with a woman killed in marple township. it happened right around 6:00 a.m. along the 600 block of south central avenue. investigators say the victim was walking along the road when she was struck by a car. she was pronounced dead at the scene, the driver did stop. no word that the driver faces any charges. a firefighter was injured during a fire overnight in camden. the action cam on the scene at 10th and thurmond streets before 4:00 a.m. crews arrived to find heavy flames rising from the first floor of that home. a firefighter was taken to cooper to be treated for minor injuries. the reward is now up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man accused of punching a disabled man. this is 29-year-old barry baker and police say he's the man who

hit a person with cerebral palsy in front of a 7-eleven in west chester last month. facing a simple assault charge and parole violation. it shows the suspect mocking the man as he walked into the store. the suspect punched him in the face. four people are being connection in connection with a drug raid in east norriton earlier. this was the scene at a home this morning, undercover officers conducted a sting operation here at about 7:00 a.m. they say they discovered add drug operation in the basement of that home, but did not yet said what type of drugs or materials they found. a bomb squad along with a bomb removing robot also responded to the scene removing a jar filled with an unknown liquid. moving on to the accu weather forecast. after morning rain, turned into a lovely spring day. meteorologist melissa magee with the first check of the accu weather forecast >> we had the clouds and showers popping up across the delaware
