pennsylvania state line from the state college to the lehigh valley right in the poconos that's as far south as that will go later this afternoon. south of that line you stay dry. north of there you pick up showers later on. nothing too heavy, but don't be surprised if maybe the poconos get into a brief period of rain later this afternoon. so this is 2:30 p.m. increasing clouds for everybody else, 6:00 p.m., everybody is seeing cloudy skies and peeks of sun. the lehigh valley and the poconos maybe still a few leftover showers, overnight tonight showers around for just about everybody. otherwise, lots of clouds, tomorrow morning, the modeling starts us out with a lot of the clouds we'll see showers build during the the afternoon. that transitions over to heavy thunderstorms. some of the storms could be on the onry side. could be strong hail.

morning, delaware is stepping up the nationwide effort to get baby boomers tested for hepatitis c. people born between 1945 and 1965. it attacks the liver, but most people don't have initial symptoms and don't know they are infected. it can lead to liver cancer and failure, but can be treated with medication. your obsession with checking your text or e-mails could have a negative impact on your child's behavior. researchers surveyed 170 families with young children. they found kids are more likely to have behavior problems when their parents are distracted by technology during play time. only 11% said the technology never interrupted family time. a local family is sharing their story hoping to raise awareness about stroke. >> the message is that it can happen to anyone at any time at

asked for help. a worker drove him to a nearby firehouse where medics rushed him to penn presbyterian hospital. the man later died from his injuries. in the tioga nicetown section of philadelphia. police are looking for a gunman who shot a man in the face. the victim was walking down the street at the time of the crime. police were called to the 2600 block of west toronto street at 11:45 p.m. that's where they found the 21-year-old man suffering from injuries on the left side of his face and shoulder. he was rushed to temple university hospital in critical condition. >> 9:34 a.m., happening this morning, a man accused of stabbing a philadelphia councilman outside his home is in jail and expected to make a court appearance on attempted murder charges. >> the suspect turn himself into authorities hours after police identified him. trish hartman talked to councilman david oh county suspect's stepfather. >> the 18-year-old came to the

atlantic. >> let's get you caught up on the forecast. it's kind of cloudy. we're okay here, but farther to the north an lehigh valley and the poconos there could showers developing up there, but in the meantime look at the sun glissenning down on the beach. folks on the sand in cape may. you have mostly sunny skies down the jersey shore, even there you will see the clouds on the increase over the next couple of hours. not a bad day, but not as sunny as you may have liked to see here. flip it over to the radars, here's the showers pottstown, poconos, lehigh valley all right right now, but after lunch that's when the showers could arrive. 82 degrees is the high temperature what we're shooting for today. two degrees above the seasonal average of 80. started out at 56 the normal low is 60. now we jumped up to 68 with the sunshine. dover, 73. millville, 68. trenton, 635.

and right there on the water, cape may, 71. brigantine checking in at 67. wind speeds are generally light out of the southeast, but they will shift out of the south/southwest that will increase the humidity for tomorrow. but wind speeds on the light side today, 5 to 15 miles per hour in advance of this system right here. satellite and radar over the last couple of frames you can see the cloud tops blow off in advance of this, cloudy skies first, the showers and thunderstorms move in later. this will be generally north of interstate 78. areas north of that, you have a chance of a showers and thunderstorms later on. everybody's, though, we're looking okay. here's future tracker 6, 2:30, showers in the lehigh valley and the poconos. everybody else we're looking at mainly clouds, later this afternoon, same thing overnight tonight, a couple of showers possible for most locations, just one or two, it's not a wash. tomorrow morning we start out with clouds, note the winds direction shifting out of the southwest.
