county. seven schools are placed on lockdown after reported of an escaped inmate was spotted in warrington. daniel selby is on the run since sunday night and someone called in a tip hes with spotted in the area of county line road and maggie way. right now seven central bucks school district schools are on lockdown and the action cam was on the scene in the last hour. you see a large police presence at john paul park at lower nike. armed officers are searching there and the surrounding area. and police dogs are aiding in the search for selby. police called off the search yesterday afternoon because they believed he was not in the area. john paul park at lower nike they closed the park as they do the search. daniel selby, the 25-year-old is on the run since sunday night and a tipster called in and said

they spotted selby in the area. we'll continue to monitor the situation. again seven central bucks schools are on lockdown now as the search goes on. the second day of the bill cosby, the 79-year-old comedian appeared to have a smile on his face as he walked into the courtroom this morning. cosby is accused of drugging and molesting former temple employee, andrea constand at his home in 2004. the prosecution is continuing its case today. >> reporter: sara and the day wrapped up yesterday with a question where the mother of a past accuser could testify in this trial and the judge announced his decision that that mother of the past accuser could testify. so that happened this morning. and the prosecution called their next witness and right now the testimony continues here inside

of montgomery county courthouse. lets go to video this morning when cosby arrived to court for day two of the trial, the entertainer who will be 80 next month is charged with three counts of aggravated assault. accused of drugging and assaulting andrea constand in 2004. and they tried to establish that he showed a pattern of predatory behavior. the first witness was the mother of kelly johnson. johnson testified yesterday that cosby drugged and molested her. and he was in his workers compensation claim. and the mother remembered receiving a distressed call from her daughter and hearing the

alleged account with cosby and how her daughter changed after. how she folded in on herself. she tried to establish other reasons why johnson may have left william morris that her boss was hard to work for and reprimands for socializing with clients. and while she did not talk about specifics about the assault, she appeared on several talk shows about the encounter. how it was relevant and how questions were being posed and then how he told him in a deposition about different encounters including the one at the hotel. he was surprised about the story. and it settled. and the testimony continues at the courthouse as witnesses continue to be called for the common wealth. katherine scott, channel 6

to get through the area. it's headed to tuckerton and temple, temple up in burlington county and fleet wood, in berks county in 18 minutes past 12:00. this is slow as it moves to the east and kutztown the same time and palmerton now from 12:21. it takes about a half hour for it to move the length of the red arrow. it will take 20 to 30 minutes to get past. from you in the areas add a half hour to the arrival times and then you should see drying conditions and better road conditions. on the cool side 65 in philadelphia and 60 in allentown farther to the west low 70s in places like wilmington and dover and the winds are not all that strong. really the one issue is that line of showers up in our northern suburbs. as we go through the rest of the day we have to allow for

but have not provided additional details. now police have identified the third man involved in the deadly terror attacks in london. that the 22-year-old moroccan born italian citizen was among the third attackers. this comes as we learn more about the other attackers, london police say that 27-year-old worked for the london underground for less than six months. that he was an extreme lift featured in the documentary called the jihadist next door and he was detained by police and accused officers of discrimination. >> we are all praying -- >> the three assailants were shot dead by police within eight minutes after they ran over and stabbed multiple people. seven people were killed in the attack and nearly 50 others were injured. developing now out of delaware county. police are searching for the gunman that shot a woman early this morning in upper darby.

the woman was shot multiple times including twice in the head. "action news" reporter bob brooks live now in upper darky with the latest in this investigation. >> reporter: i just spoke with police and got an update. there is no doubt this woman was targeted. i hear this is a 30-year-old woman and some how alive in critical condition and police tell me she just dropped her child off at the bus stop when she was shot. >> right after the kids got on the bus. >> it was like a loud boom. >> multiple booms? >> yes. >> according to police a woman was shot three times, twice in the head and twice in the chest. her condition is unknown at this point. no word on who she is. the one neighbor told us she was relatively new to the neighborhood. >> we are in between clinton and

wire works customers along the delaware river. 35,000 customers are affected and 11 schools are in the boil water advisory zone. tap water should be cooled one minute before being allowed to use and cook and brush teeth. also in new jersey today voters in the garden state will go to the polls to select the candidates to replace governor chris christie. six democrats and five republicans are on the ballot. chris christie will leave office in january since serving since 2010. and voters will choose their nominees for state senate and general assembly. the polls are open until 8:00 tonight you can see live election results on 6abc.com after the polls close. >> a new jersey state trooper killed in the line of duty was honored today. ♪ ♪

a massachusetts man went on a destructive rampage inside of a dunkin' donuts. that solman walked into the restaurant and threw chairs and even a bicycle seat at a man with a disability. several people were injured and that solman has a history with the victim. he faces charges including assault. at least seven people were

killed in an explosion in western afghanistan, another 16 your injured. the blast took place at the gate of the great mosque of harat. that the bomb was planted in a rick shaw and nobody has claimed responsibility for at tack. >> a 25-year-old is facing charges for allegedly leaking classified information for the russian interference in the 2016 election. the first intelligence contractor to be arrested for leaks under president trump. accused of leaking a top secret security document providing the most detailed account yet of the russian efforts to hack the election. that she was hired for the tech company to do work for the nsa this past february and the document was leaked on may 5th. >> my client is being used as a scapegoat for what could be considered a political agenda, this comes on the heels of

president trump is proposing privatizing air traffic control to make it more reliable. as part of the aviation administration legislation that expires this fall. they would move from the faa to a nonprofit corporation governed by a 13 member board. apple will soon present the new apple iphone feature called do not disturb while driving, if it's connected to a car the phone will withhold notifications for texts and other updates, if someone texts

that phone will send a message saying you are driving and will not responsibility at the moment. and others can disable the feature part of apple's ios 11 software. and the unprecedented success for a new gene and cell therapy for a new blood cancer on the rise. it's early and the study is small just 35 people. still every person with it responded and all but two were in some level of remission in two months and a second study every patient taking a certain dose responded. the first for multiple my home and rare cancer treatment to have such success. a florida mother called it a teachable movement. people online called it dangerous and called police. why she allowed a small snake to bite her toddler.

dade here with a check of the accuweather forecast. we sure had a lot of gray days. >> and we have another one today. and i had a tweet that says the sun is breaking out in chester. as we look at stormtracker 6 live double scan there is not rain everywhere. it's spotty shower activity from here on out. but when showers open up in this somewhat damp environment. you can get showers. in reading and in toward hamburg, and not all the towns,

the ones in the northern half of this box i have drawn will not see a heavy shower but slow moving showers, i call them slow because they only go 20 miles per hour. it takes a full half hour to go the full length of the hour. it may be with you for 20 to 30 minutes and arrival times in lions and dryville. and jerusalem and schwenksville and these are roughty the arrival times of the steadier rain. you may see some sprinkles there and later on we'll see the drying. and farther south i see something by norristown and malvern and go ahead and start this up for you to get a sense of the movement. no lightning but that could be producing a rumble of thunder pretty much any time and exton or malvern that is a good thumb of of rain and could take 20 minutes to get through.

if you have an option to wait to run your errands you won't have to wait long. lets go ahead and get you outside. there are places without the rain, and some clearing to the west and most of us are under the clouds and cloudy the rest of the way with spotty shower activity. cool out there and winds from the east at 8 miles per hour not all that strong. maybe picking up a little later on today and a little bit warm toert west. 69 in wilmington and 68 in dover and these areas will wind up a couple of degrees milder than points east. future tracker 6 picking up the showers we have now and showing you we have a chance that these continue to pop up and pinwheel trend now and 3:00 and to rush hour. not everybody is seeing these but there is moisture in the atmosphere that got thumped with a temporary shower on average. looks like adam and cecily has something to show you tonight at

10:00 and 11:00. spotty shower is possible and. 66 is the high and down the shore cooler and in the mid-60s. we'll go 64 in ac and lots of clouds at the shore a spotty shower is possible. in philadelphia we bump the high to 6 8 degrees and cooler than yesterday. and not everybody gets wet and some of you do, and fall down to the mid-60s by dinner time and tomorrow morn of the same. the high of 68 today in philadelphia and cloudy skies for the most part and we can't rule out some sun and spotty showers into the evening showers and tomorrow morning rain or drizzle and 67 in the afternoon and could be late day clearing and thursday is a real good day clouds giving way to sun and a high of 72. we are reintroducing a spotty shower and it's milder, and we go to 78 on friday.

police custody late sunday night may have been spotted. 25-year-old daniel selby pushed a deputy and ran off in doylestown still handcuffed. someone called 911 this morning to say they saw selby in warrington. police and k-9 searched the area of john paul park and as a result of the search seven bucks school district schools are on lockdown. his father was arrested for helping his son evade police. we'll continue to follow the story and bring you updates when they become available. it is day two of the trial for bill cosby. he is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman more than a decade ago. a jury of 12 chosen from the pittsburgh area, will decide the comedian's fate. vernon odom is live outside of the courthouse with more. >> good afternoon the montgomery county da i
