the gem that we've been looking for. >> i got one. i got one. holy mackerel, there he is. >> that's beautiful. i don't think i've seen one that color. >> this is a blue creighfish, a subterranean species they borough under ground and live in the chambers and come up for food beneath the rocks in the small pools that gather underneath the rocks. they are extremely rare. >> there it is. the sapphire of the west virginia hillside. >> it is so blue. i can't believe it. it is as blue as the sky is. >> look, its eyes are blue. it's blue all over. >> it really is a very pretty crustation. >> it is possible this is a new subspecies of this creigh fish. we will take really detailed photographs and mark the gps coordinates and never know, this may be a completely newly discovered creighfish. >> you think they'll let us name it? >> i would call it the sapphire creighfish. >> is it really a sapphire creigh fish.
