turning now to a tragedy along the jersey shore. two teenagers are still missing after being pulled roving to beter last night and a challenge for search crews. new jersey turnpike correspondent nora muchanic live now along the beach william family members are also gathered waiting for any word. nora. >> reporter:en a tough day here. dense fog and rough waters kept the searchers out of the water for most of the day although the fog has burned off and we have in the last couple minutes seen a few personal watercrafth friends of the teens have been here all day. they set up camp on the their loved ones. >> this is crazy. he was so young. lost his mom. now i lost him. >> reporter: family members were overcome with grief today as they waited for news about the teens swept out in a rip current off mlk boulevard eveniw presumed dead.

officials say there is no evidence to prove that al-baghdadi is dead. >> a dirt bike rider is accused of injuring a student getting off a school bus in wilmington. police just released these pictures showing the man wanted for the may 24th hit-and-run. investigators say the dirt bike rider illegally passed the stopped bus and hit the child. this happened in the area of north van buren and west third street. if you recognize the yellow bike or know who may have been riding it, you are urged to call police. one person was injured when a fire tore through a home in ardmore overnight. firefighters were called out to the 100 block of east golf view road about 2 o'clock this morning. they say the fire started in the garage and then spread to the home. a man who had been inside at the time is being treated for burn on his arm. >> well, news of a big purchase for amazon will change the online and grocery landscapes. amazon is buying whole foods for nearly $14 billion, all in cash. amazon says it doesn't plan to change whole foods' name. it will continue to be a

>> it's going to be okay. we'll get through it. it's not going to be a washout either day but it's going to be very hot, very humid and unsettled at times. as we look at storm tracker6 live double scan most of area is quiet but it's very cloudy and there's a little bit of a shower developing in southern parts of new cosell county, near townsend, middletown heading south towards port penn, southern salem county, shower south of bayside heading towards cumberland county and this will be the flavor this evening. here and there of showers and downpours but most of the area is on the dry side. but it is warm and muggy despite the lack of sunshine. feels like 84 in philadelphia, 85 in millv. and it is only 71 up in the lehigh valley. there the clouds are locked in a little bit more. have been getting a few pops of sun at times with that wind off of the ocean, 71 beach

although it's only in the 70's, it's still rather humid down there as well. there you can see the clouds littering the sky b delaware, you can see the clouds do thin out, a little more sunshine there c or at least filtered sunshine and more showers off to the west and we'll watch those this evening during the overnight hours. in fact, f picking up at 11 o'clock tonight still the chance of a scattered downpour even a rumble of thunder as a frontal boundary passes through o tomorrow morning we wake up, more of the same as this morning with those clouds stuck over our region with a few scattered downpours or showers and as we get into the afternoon tomorrow, there will be some thinning to the cloud cover with a little bit of brightening to the sky at times but that would ignite these scaunderstorms so a very typical summer-like weekend ahead. saturday as we look at the heat index, 90 philadelphia, wi. off to the north a little bit less there in the 80's againer f to the north.

to ask questions. day five, hours and hourstestimf deliberating and the jury in the bill cosby sex assault trial still has not reached a verdict. friday morning the jury continued to ask more questions. ey rehear testimony from 79-year-old bill cosby's civil trial in 2006 that was once sealed but opened. it centered around quaaludes that was banned incosby has admg women the drug before engaging in sexual acts back in the 70's but says it was always consensual. the jury of seven men and five women wanted the definition of reasonable doubt and requested sby's accuser andrea constand and her mother. >> with all the hours of deliberation and still not knowing an answer it is painful to be able to -- to have to wait and endure this but i -- we still feel hopeful that we're going to have a good. >> reporter: oerexual assault continue to show up to the courthouse and support

"action news" reporter bob brooks covering the story. he's live now for us outside of that home in mayfair. bob, doubles have -- do police have any leads at this point. >> reporter: sharrie pbout this investigation. i can tell you who is. that's neighbors. they're specifically talking about the victim. they want him to know how great of a guy they think he is. it's been a busy day for police in the city's mayfair section. the hunt for man who has badly hurt a man in the 4100 block of decatur street. neighbors say the 66-year-old victim is in the hospital undergoing treatment for serious injuries. >> we're all rooting for you. hope you get out of there see y. >> we love you in the area. we know how religious you are.

attention. >> a jury has now convicted the woman who urged her boyfriend to take his own life. michelle carter sent a barrage of texts conrad roy in the minutes he died pressuring him to go through with his suicide even if he expressed doubt that he wanted to. the 1d s truck with carbon monoxide in 2014 but got out and texted carter. well, she replied telling him repeatedly to get back in the truck. the jury decided that that manslaughter. >> although we are very pleased with the verdict in reality there are no winners here today. conrad an 18-year-old boy is dead aren't the young woman, a young woman is now convict thes. two families have been torn apart and will be affected by this for years to come. >> carter was 17 at the time of roy's death so she was tried as a juvenile. still she is facing 20 years in prison when she's sentenced. >> well, from chocolate sir up to nestleays to
