[cheers and applause] jen, how are you doing? welcome. >> good. can i hug you? >> bring it in! >> [laughs] thank you. thanks. >> welcome to "millionaire." um, you have gone well above and beyond being a great teacher. >> oh, thanks. >> tell us about how you became an angel for this one student. >> a few years back, i lost an aunt to cancer, and then the year after that--the summer after that, i met a student who shared her name, and that was pretty special. and then, i found out that this student was telling me her story that she has not had kidney function since she was six years old. and... while she was telling me that, in the back of my head, i heard a voice say, "you're gonna give her a kidney," and i was like, who--who is that? and then i got to know her,

and researched it, and turned in to be an ideal match, so... >> you donated a kidney to this student who had the same name as your aunt. >> yeah, yeah. >> this is you in the hospital. >> [laughs] [cheers and applause] >> and, um... how is she doing? >> she's doing great. she--she was on dialysis two hours. >> oh, this is her! oh. >> yeah, that's her. she used to be on dialysis two hours every night. and now she is not on dialysis, doing well, and is a sophomore in college, so. >> no way. that's incredible. >> it's pretty amazing. >> as if teachers don't do enough. >> [laughs] well. >> that is the ultimate gift. you've given this girl life. that is a beautiful thing. >> it's pretty amazing. >> i would love to gift you $1 million today. >> i would accept that. >> here's how you're going to get it. this is what you're up against. 14 questions, the money values growing from $500 all the way up to that $1 million.
