dewpoints well in the 60s, some locations in the 70s. with all the human we have showers and down -- now with all the humidity, we have showers and downpours starting to pop up. storm tracker 6 live is zoom into western portions of the delaware bay, a heavy downpour coming out of the northern kent county there's smyrna to the south. it's lifting northeast at 20 miles per hour. we don't have any lightning strikes reported but as you can see the colors we have heavy rain that's falling. it's moving along at a decent clip. we have another cell to the net and another cell pushing into western portions of cape may county. southern salem and cumberland counties this is what to expect, brief heavy downpours, you'll pick up a quarter to a half inch of rain and rumble or two of thunders and isolated lightning strike is possible. everybody else later this afternoon, cloudy, warm and sticky, high of 83, and be on

courthouse wishing everybody had a happy father's day, but through his spokesman he and it is -- frustrated with the questions by the jury. they want to hear more testimony of the brother-in-law of andrea constan the one who said record the phone calls and contact a stop civil lawyer before calling police. he said what i am seeing with this jury i've never seen in 30 years there are going to be jurors that are compromised for the sake of getting a verdict. the judge said he didn't see any such evidence of that, and added there's a miss perception there's a time limit. bill cosby's spokesman said enough is enough. >> we were hoping he would have accepted the deadlock, under the

developing news for you all night long. seven american sailors are missing after what's being called a catastrophic collision between a navy destroyer and navy ship off the coast of japan. the navy ship took on water moments after the collision. three crew members were evacuated by helicopter from the ship, one of them the ship's captain. a big gash could be seen in the mid section of the u.s.s. fitzgerald, the damage was above the water line and below, three compartments began to flood, the crew has reportedly stabilized the flooding the fitzgerald is limping back to court up it was hit in the middle of the night by a container ship four times it's size. navy crews are scrambling to figure out what happened and why. >> both ships should be looking at radar and try to turn away from each other. how they ended up hitting each other is hard to understand. >> right now officials into not

know if the missing sailors went into the water if they were trapped inside the wreckage. ship. this morning efforts are underway to find the missing sailors. new this morning, philadelphia police are investigating a fatal shooting in the city's hunting park section, a man was shot in the chest at 3:30 a.m. on the 500 block of west tioga street taken to temple university hospital where he died from his injuries. that no -- this morning, a passenger on a are motorcycle was -- a passenger on a motorcycle was hurt on south broad street near local bored -- lumbard street. the impact of the crash sent the motorcyclist into another and knocked both riders and passengers off their bikes. one passenger was taken to jefferson university hospital to be treated for minor injuries. a bucks county couple

heading to prison for torturing their infant twin daughters. prosecutors say the couple abused the newborns over the first two months of their lives, the abuse happened while they were high in domestic fights over drugs and prosecutors say the cowment failed to get the infants medical treatment. a bucks county father is heading to prison for cyber stalking a teenage girl we told you about 55-year-old shane holderrer in an exclusive report. he became obsessed with his daughter's friend who was 13 years old at the same time. he was ordered to stay away, but continued to pursue her on social media and made object seen and sexual posts. he will spend 18 months to 7 years in jail. for the first time trump acknowledged he is under federal

back everyone, 6:25 a.m., saturday morning, you're looking at storm tracker 6 live, we're zoom into cape may county, route 9 and the garden state parkway. this downpour is pushing onshore. it's over dennis creek now. this is a wildlife here, there's not much in the way of population. this will be pushing east/northeast and over the shorepoints over the next half-hour or so. the general movement is northeast 20 to 25 miles per hour. this cell will be over the shorepoints shortly. these two will be over camden and gloucester counties shortly. this one lifting out of the of wilmington should be close to the city in the next hour. we're looking at isolated showers and thunderstorms

satellite and radar lots of clouds this morning, and a couple of showers and downpours starting to pop now south of philadelphia. these are lifting out of the delaware bay and pushing onshore in salem, cumberland and cape may counties. as a matter of fact we'll make a quick zoom into that part of the viewing area, this is extreme southern portions of south jersey. a lot of this is starting to ease up a little bit. we had good downpours an hour ago. we're seeing some reds in there, now a lot of yellows lifting off to the northeast. what to expect today, oppressive humidity, awful humidity dewpoints around 70 degrees, it's what they typically see on a daily basis in places like houston, new orleans. feeling very tropical today. a lot of clouds and peeks of sun and pop-up showers and thunderstorms will be developing throughout the day. high of 83 in philadelphia. with the humidity feeling like 87. tomorrow, father's day, the forecasted high is 90. with the humidity it will feel like 96. gray? >> okay, chris, thank you so

much for the update. folks time now, 6:31 a.m. the jury in the bill cosby trial will be back at it again this morning deliberations have continued since the panel first declared it was deadlocked on thursday, the judge clashed with the cosby team which called for a mistrial and objected to the jury's repeated request to review testimony him cosby in a rare move addressed the crowd outside of the courthouse. the man was known as america's dad thanked the jury for their work and wished supporters a happy father's day during this brief address. >> i also want to thank the supporters who have been here and please to the supporters, stay calm, do to the argue with people just keep up the great support. >> deliberations continue at 9:00 a.m. this morning, judge steve o'neill reiterated there

is no time limit for how long a jury can deliberate. of course fans have been at the courthouse showing their support for bill cosby, chad perdelli talked to supporters and an expert who said no one should jump to conclusions on what the jury may decide. >> reporter: the jury has been deliberating for over 50 hours, legal experts who have been watching the trial say the jury has a difficult decision because there are strong points on both sides. supporters of bill cosby made their voice heard. >> yes, bill go. >> reporter: dave five of deliberations ended still, without a verdict. dennis mcandrews ask a former prosecutor with the delaware county's district attorney's office where he spent 17 years. >> i don't think either side should be confident after 40 hours and asking for all the evidence they asked for, the legal definitions again, anyone who is walking around confident is mistaken.

for seven sailors after a navy destroyer collided with a container ship. u.s.s. fitzgerald was hit 56 nautical miles of japan. the fitzgerald was badly damaged in the collision. you can see it right there. the containership from the philippines four times the size of the navy ship hit it at nighttime. the fitzgerald took on water in three compartments, but it's been stabilized. three crew members were lifted to shore including the captain. there is no sign of teenagers who disappeared in the ocean in atlantic city. thursday night a 16-year-old got caught in a rip current. her friend bravely jumped into the water in an effort to save her, sadly neither made it out of the water. the 16-year-old and 15-year-old raymond quinn of pleasantville

remember the month of may marks the first heat wave of the year for the delaware valley. now nasa confirmed the planet experienced its second warmest may on record. the hottest may in history according to the goddard space institute. we had a 90 earlier in the week. >> reporter: we had three days around 94, to 96. one thing we didn't have was the humidity. now the humidity is almost off the charts. if we had that humidity along with the heat it would have been unbearable we would have heat index numbers around 105 in parts of the area. as we get you outside, there's the view on penns landing we're

waking up to cloudy skies. it's dreary, we're not seeing rain, but lots of fog. double scan live showing showers and downpours lifting through cumberland and salem counties in new jersey. we have another one in north central cape may county that will be pushing into sea isle and strathmere, shortly. this is the one we have the heaviest rains this is lifting northward along the i-95 corridor and should be in philadelphia or close by within the hour. so this is pushing out of delaware city new castle into south jersey, there's salem and pennsville. it's lifting north/northeast 20 to 25 miles per hour. there's the general movement here. what well wait and see is this to lift in southern portions of philadelphia county within the hour or so. once this initial line pushes through, we expect to see more showers and thunderstorms developing throughout the day. it's not going to be a straight wash today, but it's going be the chance of a shower or
